Our makeup artist was running 45 minutes behind schedule- do the math and you can see we were immediately in a pickle. However, the stylists and makeup artists worked together and somehow made it work. Pros: -Communication. We were greeted immediately upon entry and notified of the appointment delay- no late surprises. -Teamwork. The staff was like a well oiled machine on a day of complete chaos getting us in and out within our scheduled timeframe, even with they're own limitations. -Ambiance. When you're going to a place to get styled, it always helps for the place to be beautiful, and this place it's the mark. Stylish decor and CLEAN. -Education. I was informed that the current stylists on staff have a minimum of 4 years of experience, some with as many as 20. Cons: As for this trip, none. Let me say, when it comes to getting a good hair cut, I believe I am cursed. Seriously. 80% of the time, I am dissatisfied with the work done. From barbers to salons, it's more miss than hit. I try to convey my expectations as simple as possible, and the results are typically me wondering if the tech even heard me. Ha ha... SO, this brings me back to why I am leaving this review. Halya listened and asked questions along the way, being certain she was doing what I was looking for. I have medium length hair and with my hair type, it can be hard to style as I like. Keeping this in mind, Halya makes suggestions and isn't afraid to counter my opinion to achieve the desired results. I went back for a second hair cut last week, which solidified my thoughts of my first experience. Due to Halya's attention to detail and desire to get it right (and ability to accomplish that result), I will keep going back for her service. There are many places I could go that are much closer to me, but I'd rather save myself the time and drive further to have the job done right the first time, correctly. As for cost, it is very reasonable. When I consider the end results I get here, it is a great value. I can pay the bill, give a 75% tip and still feel great about the experience. They quoted me initially during a consultation for 3 hours from 1-4pm. We ended the appointment at 4:22 and I assumed it would still be 3 hours given the delayed start. The receptionist pulled the price up to have the stylist confirm. The stylist shrugged and said "we started a bit late but that's fine." Then I saw the price and they added a full hour to the total price. After tip, it was over $460. Given it was my first time I felt overwhelmed and didn't say anything and cause a scene. I regret not speaking up in the moment. However I don't recommend people go here as they may do the same to you. I won't be returning.

Lastly, during my last visit they appeared to be renovating the lobby area. But these renovations did not appear to interfere with the services being provided.
