Because of how fine/straight my hair is, I like a particular style and way of cutting hair that is not "how" it is taught in hair dressing school. Laura has heard this from me and provided a cut that leads from the crown of my part when it is on the side. This coupled with a blunt cut that also is somewhat asymmetrical and yet does not allow the hair in front of my ears to extend any longer when tucked behind my ears. She is also capable of long layers for straight hair to create an effortless flip-up. For my daughter, whose hair is dark blonde, she has provided truly "sun-kissed" highlights that not only looked extremely natural yet also grew out exactly as if the highlights were provided by the sun and were growing out over the winter season. Because of this, one side was shorter than the other side. The longer side was thicker than the shorter side. It was noticeable and hard to work with. So I called to make an appt with Kris/Chris to go back to have it fixed. When I went back I was met with nothing but rudeness from the front desk where an older woman was standing glaring at me, up to and including while I was sitting in Kris's/Chris's chair. Kris/Chis was argumentative, making faces and rolling her eyes to the others who were in the Salon. She even started singing in my ear. She seemed to be determined not to recognize the very simple error that she made. She wasn't interested in my showing her. Ultimately, she didn't fix it. A simple apology and fix would have sufficed. The lack of customer service and professionalism by this hairdresser and salon was very disappointing.
