But I was extremely impressed with the styling. The hair stylist (Ann) and makeup artist (Emily) were great. Both were fun and easy to talk to, while also remaining completely on schedule - no small task for a group of 8. There were very high quality makeup products used, like Chanel and Dior, and a wide range of shades to fit a variety of skin types and desired looks. The artist used fresh brushes and was constantly keeping things clean. And most importantly, both the hair and makeup were set well enough to hold throughout the entire day and stayed looking great. As soon as they responded I felt very comfortable with them both and couldn't wait for my trial run. Bob did exactly what I had requested with natural makeup, but brought out my eyes more, so I felt like myself just prettier and more confident. He was fun, and had a great playlist! Ann had a much harder job as I wanted half up and the rest curled, but as I was very aware, my hair doesn't hold a curl well. She worked her magic...had to move my headpiece at the end, but otherwise I was very pleased. I went out to eat near the beach, and after sent her pics of the problem areas that didn't keep the curl because of the weather. She noted that and did an even more amazing job on my wedding day. She even stayed later on that day to freshen up a few of my bridesmaids before we left. She was ready for me right on time and the studio itself is so cute and clean! Taryn herself is really personable and easy to talk to. She recommended I also try the eyebrow tinting, which I did and I love it. She shaped my eyebrows perfectly and had a great way of keeping me relaxed the whole time so it was as painless as possible. Jared did the makeup for my sister's wedding, and he was an absolute dream. And my makeup was the perfect balance of pop + understated. In other words, he listened to all three of us and gave us a look that addressed what we wanted. Even better - the looks lasted! All three of us were looking good at the end of the night, despite sideways rain and a rowdy dance floor. Another thing I really appreciated about Jared was his presence. I would not recommend doing business on that side. Medical: Dr. Saad and the team I saw for acne (for 10 years?) are great, great service and results, no complaints, deserving 4-5 stars. Dr. Saad recommended I look into laser resurfacing for acne scarring, so naturally I walked next door - to a markedly different experience deserving 1 star. Cosmetic: I spent $1800 in 2017 (a major espense at the time) on a series of three Fraxel laser treatments. Dr. Butler was friendly, I am not sure I saw results from the treatment but I knew that was a risk. However, I only wound up receiving 2 of the 3 services, I was late for service 2 and it was rescheduled, then the Dr.'s medical event meant I had to reschedule service 3 to after the summer, due to the nature of this treatment. I was fine with the medical event requiring a reschedule but I never completed the 3rd treatment (that I paid for) and I gave up trying to get their attention. The front desk staff were never great, and I emailed twice and left multiple voicemails but have not received a follow-up on these concerns. I moved to NH that fall and am no longer in the area during business hours to stop by in-person and it is to strange that I have never heard communication about this.
