I tried a few different stylists at Path, and while they were all really good, Ashley is amazing. First time she did my cut and color she was able to get my color exactly where I wanted it to be, and the cut was so flattering and a great update to what I had. She's also really nice, which you want when you're sitting there for a few hours. The second I found out she was opening her own spot, I knew I'd be following. Finding someone as awesome as Ashley isn't easy, and it was worth an extra 5-10 minute drive (or half an hour if that's what it took). The selfish part of me wants to keep her a secret, but she deserves success so book an appointment!

However, when i came back to get balayage done recently, it was almost like she was a different hair dresser. I didn't want to cute too much off because i really like my long hair, however by the end of it, more than four inches were cut off. Furthermore, my hair isn't cut even at all (see photo, it's the same around my whole head. I took one photo with wet hair and one of dry hair.) But what really disappointed me was how i didn't even get what i wanted. My hair looks nothing like the photo i showed Stephanie, it almost looks like i didn't do a single thing to my hair. My hair is also now super damaged from before. I used to be able to brush my hair wet no problems, and not worry about brushing my hair through the day. But now it's like i can't go anywhere without a brush. My hair CONSTANTLY TANGLES. Overall, really disappointed with my second visit. Now I'll just wait a couple of months for my hair to grow out and try a different salon.
