Ashley told me that she had client coming in soon for a quick haircut. I said okay no problem. We did highlights and I went to the heater in the shampoo room at 4:45pm. 5:00 she shampoos my hair and puts toner on it. 5:10 she washes out my hair and the person shows up. At this point she leaves me in a chair in shampoo room and goes to the person to do the haircut. My hair is wet and dripping and I'm cold. At 5:45 comes to get me to blow dry. This is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I was not going to get a hair cut, I just needed a blow dry and I would have been out the door. She should have finished my appointment first with a blow dry and then focused on the next client.

My issue was specifically with one hairstylist and how my situation was handled. After my appointment, I noticed two very obvious bleach lines at the front of my hair near my face. It genuinely looked like two stripes of bleach if I wore my hair up. I reached out and asked if it could be fixed. I was brought back in, but there was never any apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. More bleach was added to try to cover it, but the lines were still visible afterward, just slightly less noticeable. I was even told, "As long as you don't wear your hair up, it should be fine," which was frustrating to hear, given the issue was still there. When I contacted the stylist again after getting home, instead of taking responsibility, she blamed my hair, saying it was because of my widow's peak. She also refused to issue any refund. What disappointed me most throughout the entire experience was the lack of accountability and basic customer care; not once was there an apology. I understand mistakes can happen in hair services, but professionalism and how those mistakes are handled matter just as much as the result.

Before coming here, I never trusted barbers due to multiple bad haircuts but wow, Lizbeth changed my whole life and perspective on that by always being extremely attentive and diligent to my hair. Since I visit every couple months, I find it sweet that Lizbeth always remembers small details about me (like my cat, my attempts to cook, etc.) and it's nice to have such lively conversations that makes the appointment feel like a breeze.
