At first, I assumed it was my products, so I switched to color-safe shampoo and conditioner and changed my routine before concluding there was a bigger issue. I recently had to pay for an additional treatment with another stylist because my hair had become so dry and brittle. This wasn't my first experience with similar issues after seeing this stylist, and I've never had this level of breakage after having my hair colored by other stylists. What disappointed me the most was the customer service. When I initially reached out, I was offered a refund. After explaining the condition of my hair, that refund was later withdrawn because it had been two months and I had seen another stylist. However, I only saw another stylist because I was trying to repair the condition of my hair. I also don't typically have my hair colored every few weeks it's usually several months between appointments so the damage wasn't immediately obvious to me. I understand that all color services carry risks, but I was disappointed that my concerns were ultimately dismissed after a refund had already been offered. I can only speak from my own experience, but based on both the results I experienced and how the situation was handled, I won't be returning.

My lashes are long and beautiful. I just wanted thicker and darker lashes for Valentine's Day. Renee had my phone number. She left me a voicemail. Renee texted me, on March 6, 2021, stating she would meet me at her shop and she would give me my cash back. I can barely move. So I had my daughter with me. Can you believe that even though she's the aggressor and she's the one that cussed me out and told me to "leave her the F*ck alone", she had a Police Officer there standing by? The officer looked really upset. They have better things to do than to baby sit people. When she texted me she said she wanted me to sign a receipt for the cash she was refunding me. Well guess what she did? She wrote on a blank piece of paper that she was refunding me the money. Then she wrote that I agree not to post negative comments about her. I will never agree to that, so I scratched lines through that paragraph before I signed her hand written receipt. I will never lie about a person. And not telling the world that she's a horrible lash person would make me a liar. I'm not deleting my reviews because what I wrote about her is the truth. Renee created huge problems between two families that was completely unnecessary. I told her about my life and she shared what I told her with someone else who doesn't know me. She just "heard of me". Hopefully, Renee learned her lesson not to gossip and betray the trust of her clients. Hopefully, she gets better training on lash extensions and invests on better products. Other places I looked at didn't have anything for weeks, even months. Anyways, I'm glad I went to Renee. I noticed immediately that her spa/boutique is very clean and welcoming. I was brought back early for my appointment (I arrived 20 mins early to fill out paperwork) and it was nice not having to sit and twiddle my thumbs waiting for my service. Renee did a great job with the microdermabrasion, she answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable even though I came in feeling a little self-conscious. My face was so soft and clean when I was finished. I felt great! I also asked Renee about products because sometimes I feel overwhelmed and don't know what to use. She made recommendations and even said she would not push the product on me--she told me other places I could buy her products as well. However, her prices were the same, if not better, than big stores such as Ulta, because she was having a sale. I bought a few things because I wanted to and not because I felt pressured. Overall, my bill was way under what I expected it to be for both the microdermabrasion and the skincare products! I paid with Venmo (even though she had other payments options) which I appreciate because I don't think many people carry cash these days, or at least not enough to pay for much. I will definitely be returning to Renee for my next service and will recommend her to others.
