I felt she genuinely looks out for the best interest of you and your skin. She was very professional and was good about communicating every step of the way of what she was doing and ensuring I was comfortable. She also took the time to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. I felt so comfortable from start to finish. First time visit and booking here and won't be the last ! Moved here 6 years ago and haven't found a good spa that I truly liked until I decided to give Hot shots a try. The outside is very cute and the inside is very clean and pretty and unique. It has a cute funky vibe to it and it's very clean up to date with covids circumstances and make it comfortable even with the horrible virus going around. It smelled fresh and clean like how it looks ! That's rare! They disinfect everything, everything is super clean from the seating area to the room where you get your hair done. Everyone is nice and friendly and will hype you up and your confidence and make you feel good with your fresh cut,color,look. That's a good vibe especially women to women. Now especially, I really liked Olivia ! She's so bright and bubbly and sweet. She did my daughters hair as a fresh start as a new 18 year old and colored it and it came out so beautiful and gorgeous. If you're like me, at my age (early 50s) I want to look as good as I can and as "in style" as possible, without appearing as though I'm trying too hard to look younger. Once in a while, I see women my age do this and it's unattractive...at best. That said... I'm not wanting to look like my grandma either. I want a haircut that's a little sassy and even a tad edgy. I also want to have it colored in a way that hides the grey, isn't a fluorescent rainbow but is still on trend. With Ronda and her team, I always know I am in good hands. They are always upping their game through education and are committed to keep up with new and innovative styles and techniques. This is both for cuts and color!! I've been going to Hot Shots for over 10 years. My stylist is Rebecca who is outstanding. You might be thinking why would someone keep going to the same place year after year Here's why, Rebecca keeps current (taking educational classes) on all the new hair cuts,styles,products and has a talent with knowing what style works for each clients facial features. All I can say is I think she's the BEST! Let me comment on Hot Shots. When you walk in your always greeted with a smile by Sissy the receptionist and offerrd a beverage. The hot tea is wonderful. Rhonda the owner is very friendly. The Decore of the salon is very modern and stylish. If you are in need of getting a pedicure or manicure give Kathy a try. My toe nails have never looked better! This was my first experience at Hot Shots and I was completely blown away by Ronda and her crew. I had a friend recommend me to Ronda - I have curly hair that has never been cut/styled to my liking. I've asked many stylists to cut it where I don't need product and I've never had anyone follow through... That was until I met Ronda! She walked me through ever cut and gave me her reasoning for the end result. She even let me leave un-styled so I could see how it looked natural - I LOVED THAT! She proved to me that curly hair doesn't have to look like a Christmas tree and can have beautiful body and movement. I will definitely be seeing her from now on! I've been going to Hot Shots and more specifically Ronda for a few decades on and off. There is no doubt she is fantastic! I needed a more professional cut and style that was still feminine and I could still put up. She delivered in spades!!! Do to some personal reasons I was going to other places for over a year and feeling worse and worse. I spent hours styling my hair for it to never sit right and had stylists in other salons complain about my long thick hair. Ronda on the other hand knew just what to do and did. She was clear about how she was going to cut it, why, and that I can still style it other ways. I left happy and nothing says your working that look like a bunch of compliments. Rhonda is my stylist and each time I've gone in I've had a very satisfying experience. I'm usually there for up 5 hours for a cut and color. She has consistently done a great job and from the first time I went, the products they use (Aveda) improved the texture of my hair. Everyone is always friendly and the store is kept very clean. This is the best salon I have ever been to in my whole life at 63 years of age. I never had anyone who knows my hair or my needs like Rhonda the owner. She cares about you as if you are her one and only client or as if her very own family. You are surrounded with people who are of like mine. The salon appears clean and there were multiple rooms rented out to stylists. We know mutual people and Shelby was recommended to me in the past if I needed a hairstylist. A while back, my teenage son got a bad haircut by a barber, so I scheduled him with Shelby. She totally saved his hair and cleaned it up to the best of her ability to the way he wanted his hair to look and made it much more presentable. My son was very happy with the outcome! I usually cut my own hair, but I decided to get a professional haircut for my 50th birthday a couple weeks ago, so I called Shelby for an appointment. Not knowing how my hair will respond to being cut, she was cautious. I didn't really have a particular style as I just keep it shaved/slight taper on the sides and back and the top long enough to comb it forward. She constantly checked to see how I liked it and if I needed it to go shorter. Other than length, I just put my trust in her hands and my hair turned out great! It was nice to have a professional haircut after maybe 10 years of cutting my own hair. I will definitely be back for a haircut in the future. The charm of the salon was nice and simple. I love the fact that they book one client for each person so it was only two of us in the building at a time. The products they used on my hair are amazing. The shampoo smelled great and had my hair feeling so clean! I also opted for color this time around so right now I'm happy with it. My hair is so straight! The flat iron lasted so nicely the last time which is why I came back. My appointment was for 2 hours. I was out the door immediately afterward with no delays. I will certainly go back to this place. There is a reason why they have a nice rating. They deserve it.
