I myself don't get any stylish kind of haircut when I do go but what he does do here is give friendly service, a really good cut ,quickly as well and at an average price. If you are like me and go in for a normal cut and there are ladies in there getting their hair curled, permed etc ( which can take a while ) he usually manages to slot you in pretty quickly for your cut. My better looking half will also vouch for him as she has been a regular too for cuts and curling , and always walks away happy. He provides all kinds of services that hairdressers should provide and ; from what I gather ; at a reasonable cost too. I will definitely keep going back to him for the foreseeable future.

As the name suggests, this place only cuts men's hair, which is good because a long line of men waiting to get haircuts actually goes pretty quickly. There isn't so much the mucking around of dying and perms and shit like that. Go in, sit down, hack away and done. Most men probably aren't too fussy when it comes to haircuts as long as their hair is shorter when they leave the shop. I'm not saying that this place does bad haircuts, I'm just saying that they are efficient at their jobs.

Somehow I've managed to train my kids into thinking that the only place you EVER get lollipops is at the hairdressers, so they are always pestering me to take them for a haircut (that's a pro parenting tip right there!). The price has gone up to $20 for kids, but it doesn't matter - they do a great job, and the kids love it. As it's a community hairdressers, there are often other kids getting their hair cut as well, so it's pretty fun. Business must be great because they've recently expanded into the next shop space to offer colouring treatments as well.

This review is with respect to the waxing. A friend of mine told me about this place, said she had been and it was the bet wax she had ever had, so I went the following week. She was right, I still come here. What is different is the wax they use. It is not strip wax. The hot wax is applied to your skin, it cools and becomes like a thick film on your skin at which point the beauty therapist peels it off like a plaster, no pain. One of my good friends assured me Body Liqueur was the place to go and so I decided to book myself in and hope I had made the right decision. I rang the salon the day before and was hoping to get an appointment at short notice. The receptionist explained that they had nothing available at short notice as they were very busy. They helpfully asked if I wanted to go on their waiting list or book an appointment on another date, I got the feeling they had said that to a lot of people that day as it did sound slightly scripted! (perfectly pleasant however) I opted for the next available appointment and booked myself in for my regular waxing. The day of my appointment arrived and I visited the salon. I was immediately asked if I wanted a glass of water while I wanted and was offered magazines. I was very nervous and the receptionist (a different person to the one on then phone) seemed genuinely understanding and spend a little time chatting to hel me feel at ease. My therapist - Ammy - popped out and welcomed me through into a hallway and into a treatment room. She was one of the most lovely woman I have ever come across. I felt immediately at ease and she performed her job incredibly well all while remaining professional and calming. I got on extremely well with her and halfway through the treatment had already decided I would return. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and everyone for waxing.
