The barbers were dressed professionally and very friendly. While the decor was what I would expect in a barber shop, I think the antique/classic barber chairs was a sign that this wasn't just another barbershop. You don't have those unless you love your profession. I was assigned to Chase, who cut his lunch break short even though I was the one who was 15 minutes early. I explained how I would like my hair and beard trimmed, and he went to work. He took his time and recommended several style changes for my approval before trimming. I'm not one for small talk during a haircut, but the barbers working that day were having an open conversation and I felt relaxed enough to even join the conversation, which is totally not me. But it definitely helped the time pass quickly and made the experience more enjoyable. Once done, Chase spun me around for a view in the mirror, and I thought he did a fantastic job. But the real approval would be made by my wife, who was waiting in the car. She liked it so much, she suggested that I change my barber. So, while it wasn't my intention, looks like Chase will have a new client. The prices here are a little higher than what I usually pay, but with the quality of work, it's well worth the price.
