The good/excellent: very low pressure upsell, decent member perks, meticulous barber, always feeling at ease in the chair. 5 stars on my personal experience with my stylist. I also like the barber vs cosmetology training that many have. The average: for what it is, facility build out/decorum of staff/establishing a brand identity, I'm a little confused. It's most certainly a "step up" from strip mall "name your chain" cuts, but much of it is resemblant of the aforementioned. The not-so-great: I could go to most Naperville salons and get the cut and most other services for about the same amount (less the membership, but certain that my stylist has a great deal to do with my retention of membership). That said, at a "chain" I would not have the same attention to detail and stylist availability. The experience at most higher end salons would likely be more relaxing, primarily because of the interior fixtures and feel, and without the membership option, a cost neutral. Bottom line: great stylist in my experience, attention to detail, average facility, do it if you seek the same person for each service and feel comfortable with a membership.

I've even been on time for one or two...ha. While they are very punctual with their time, they also are very accommodating and do try to make it work when I'm not. Very nice, personable staff & stylists on top of that. Their booking strategy changed with the pandemic; it used to be a no reservations, walk-ins only salon where sometimes you'd sit down immediately, sometimes you'd wait an hour+. Now it's an only reservations, no walk ins with a pretty easy booking process online. Oh yeah also, I mean the talent of the women who actually cut hair there is really, literally unparalleled in the market they're in.
