This is only my second visit to CJ Warren and I am so happy I came across this salon! My first visit right before Christmas time I was heading in for a "major" change to my hair that I was very nervous about. When I called to make my appt, the receptionist set me up with Allison and assured me she knew what she was doing when it came to short haircuts and bangs. To say the least, Allison lived up to every expectation I had for my visit and final haircut! Even on my most recent trip just a few days ago for a quick bang trim, she was waiting at the front desk EVEN when I walked in nearly 10 minutes early, hung up my coat and had me in the chair in less than a minute. I walked out in 10 minutes and at the ACTUAL time my appt was. I was again beyond happy with my visit! Allison is so personal and friendly and will listen to whatever ideas you have and even offer up better suggestions as a professional in this field. She has a great bubbly personality and will never let you down! I have called 3 times to request Julie. She seems not to be taking new customers. Therefore, I called 3 more times asking for a haircut for myself and my husband ( I also filled out your request for haircut appointment). I again called today and was promised a phone call back which again did not happen. No return phone call and No customer service. This salon is quite pitiful. Absolute disappointment in my daughters hair color - we had to get her color correction. Will never go back to this salon. I know that mistakes happen with hair color, but we should have NEVER been allowed to just walk out of the salon without concerns raised by the "so-called professional" that were working that day because what she wanted isn't what she received. Today was my first visit to the salon. I got an appointment in just over a week of calling. The salon is very clean and stylish. It will be expanding too, so I can only imagine it will get ever better. They have refreshments and snacks at the front for your convenience. They set up time for a consultation. I'm not sure what works best with my hair and I don't keep up with hair trends. I showed a couple pictures of things I like, but told Elle that ultimately I just wanted a shorter style that worked best with my hair. I didn't know what to do with color so I asked for advice. I felt confident if her ability right away so I just told her to do whatever and have fun. Elle was very professional and easy to talk to. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time and I'm really glad she wasn't frustrated when I asked her to be creative. She was happy with the outcome of my hair as was I. She also reassured me that if I had an problems with my cut that I could go back for any fixing. Prices were reasonable, and she referred me to some product to help with styling. I absolutely love the detail, from my name on the locker the dim lit lighting and soothing tunes in the changing room and then there's Lori, absolutely the best with over 25 years in the business , her detail , her technique , her vibe, all the things that make a perfect spa experience. From a wax to a facial and in between , the comfort level is above and beyond. Her individual designed facials, foot rubs , arm rubs and attention to detail is exquisite. It's always wonderful when you spend two hours at a salon just to leave with your hair looking nothing like the photo you showed the stylist. Everything from the cut, to the all-over color, down to the highlights is a disaster. Even after going back to get it "fixed," it still looks awful. The color was supposed to be the deepest brown she had, and now it's the same ugly auburn color I went in with. The peek-a-boo highlights are now all-over highlights and are completely mismatched. So now I'm left with a blonde streak on the top layer of one side, but not the other side. Luckily there was no length taken off, which is pretty much the only thing that she did that I asked for. Now I have to grow out the weird layer on top, so I guess I'll be sporting the Justin Bieber cut over a mullet this summer. Bummer! Even the bangs are a mess! I'm extremely disappointed as I've been going to the stylist since February. The first time she cut and colored my hair, it looked awesome. So after two hours in her chair and another 45 minutes to get it fixed, not to mention the commute times, I am on the lookout for another salon. What a waste of my time! I'm saddened that I have to look for another stylist as I thought I found a great one. I do have to add that I was reimbursed the total cost of my initial visit. I did not have her fix the color as I was extremely agitated because she seemed to have an excuse for every mistake she made, rather than just owning up and saying that she screwed up. She kept telling me that it wasn't that bad. Really??? Try walking around for three days looking like Mrs. Brady. I was literally in tears. Now that she "fixed" it, I look like I'm wearing a mushroom on the top of my head. Looks like I'll be finding another stylist - one who cares about their clients and doesn't blame them for their own incompetency. read more

I am here from California to care for my sister who is recovering from MRSA. She is weak, so I must help her on her feet, which has caused extreme pain in an already ugly sciatica. Sis uses Pam, so I used her as well. I found the spa quiet & soothing, which is so important for relaxation. Pam knew the exact location & pressure to use. I could feel the release of nerves early into the massage. My only regret is not booking a longer massage, however I have booked another one next week before I go home.
