Dry my hair is in great condition. The best it's been in years. I get color sometimes twice a year I'll get high and low lights, but the condition of my hair is amazing everyone that works. Okay hear me out... So I've been going to the same stylist since I was 9 years old and she's a family friend but her high end salon is all the way in Fort Lauderdale. I used to pay up to $380 or more for my balayage. I got tired of the drive and tried of spending that kind of money. I was SO nervous for anyone to touch my hair years especially dying my hair. I went to get my dead ends trimmed for $22 (can't beat that price) and noticed Trinity. I checked out her Instagram and made an appointment for a full balayage. I will always go to Trinity now and I trust her with hair 100%. I ended up paying $260 including tip WHICH IS FUCKING AMAZING but her prices might vary depending on your hair. I made an appointment online for first available. I received an email with the name of the person that would be cutting my hair. Okay. I got there 15 minutes before my appointment and there were two persons in front of me besides the ones being attended to my the hairdressers. Needless to say I waited about 45 minutes to be serviced. The hairdresser was okay but when I went to pay I was charged at only 15% above the $26 rate because I unbeknownst to me if she cuts it is $30. Then I paid with a credit card and as I waited for the tip line to appear she said that it was automatic another 20% tip on top of that. So what did I learn from this experience, verify the price and not use my credit to pay for the services. I want to have the option as to how much I want to tip some one. Will I be going back? Not really. I will go back to SuperCuts. read more

I was here before & my cut was perfect. This time not so much. The stylist's English was a bit broken. I asked for a fade. She kept asking me what I wanted while I was in the chair. I told her multiple times I wanted a fade, and to start with a 1 and fade it up. Instead she cut it all the way to the top with the 1. I look like I'm joining the Army. I understand many people don't speak English as their 1st language. But, if you're a stylist, you should know what a fade is. read more

Trinity is wonderful. She knows how to mix the color so it comes out the way I like it. She's very flexible with my appointment requests and sends me reminders of them. The salon ambiance could improve. There's a lot of yelling in Spanish, which is unprofessional and discourteous to non Spanish speakers. There's no reason to yell from the end of the store to someone all the way at the front when you can just take a few steps and talk privately to them. I went in not expecting much to me it was just another hair cut. From the moment I met Marta she greeted me with a smile introduced herself to me and then asked me my name. Which honestly took me by surprise. Marta then ask me what I wanted to do with my hair, After I explained to her what I wanted she repeated to me exactly what it is that I told her she made sure that she got the instructions correctly. She made me feel like I was one of the members of the family,we talked about a plethora of topics Marta was very pleasant throughout the entire haircut experience I even loved the massage that I got on my scalp. Nevertheless once I finished the haircut I went about my business and my physical therapist noticed that my hair was different she asked me to take off my hat and told me that my hair was cut very well and very even and that I looked very good it made me feel very confident and gave me a warm feeling all over.Just to think that all this is due to the tender love and care that Marta expressed towards me in the short time that I was with her, An ordinary day turned out to be an outstanding afternoon! Perfect short length with the layers and bangs I wanted. She was kind, polite, and also made sure if the length is what I wanted. this place doesn't even deserve a star tbh but I still want to say to not come here. They messed up my hair very badly, it's terribly uneven and it just looks overall horrific. I look like I got scalped like it's that bad and the lady wasn't even paying attention most of the time, she was chatting with another women rather then focusing on doing my hair. I had a good experience the last couple times. That is why I was disappointed by the lack of communication this time around. I walked in around 6pm on May 15 and saw that 3 Barbers were busy with customers. No one greeted me so I just sat down.10 minutes later a young Hispanic barber finished first so I came up to her. She said I had to wait for someone else while being vague about who it would be. I asked how long I'd have to wait and she was being vague about that as well. She then disappeared into the back for the next 20 minutes, every now and then peeking out at me and then disappearing again. I overheard the Caucasian barber telling her that appointments take precedence over Walk ins. Which is fine, but then no one bothered to tell me how long I should expect. After waiting 20 minutes I saw the Caucasian barber became free, but she greeted what seemed to be her next appointment and walked by me like I wasn't there. After 30 minutes and not seeing any hope of anyone freeing up I thought I should interrupt one of the Barbers to ask when I was next. But by that time I was irritated by the thought that I had to be put in that situation and I just walked out and took my business elsewhere. This post is already too long for something as trivial as a haircut.. But losing my valuable time from bad customer service from what is supposed to be a service industry just gets under my skin. read more

Called this week and was able to get an appointment with the stylist recommended to me within 7 days which impressed me to begin with. Tiffany was my stylist and she did an amazing job with my color and really listened to what I wanted cut wise. I feel like hairdressers sometimes get overzealous with haircuts when you only want w baby trim, but Tiffany was great, took off the bare minimum to keep my hair looking healthy and the prices can't be beat! I have been growing out my hair for two years in order to donate it to Locks of Love. It was my first time coming to this Hair Cuttery since moving to Homestead. I am really the least pickiest person when it comes to my hair. I am very low maintenance but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The stylist was super sweet and assured me that I had nothing to worry about. She made suggestions and I let her take the lead. She measured my hair out to 12 inches and cut the pony tail off. I must admit I was a little scared but I am so glad that she knew exactly what she was doing... she suggested a sidebang which is so unlike me but I took her advice and I dont regret it! Salon owner, your employees are doing you a disservice. I'm not the fussiest client, I wait my turn and always tip. Today I went to get my regular haircut and as I'm sitting waiting ( no one bothered to sign me in when I arrived) some other dude shows up and I'm skipped after waiting there about 10 minutes. When they finally attend me I ask "why did you skip me? Did he have an appointment? " the answer " no, his haircut is easier" you lost 2 steady clients forever. Avoid this place like the plague.
