I saw Bernadette earlier today and I felt kind of insulted the entire time. She continuously told me how stringy my hair was, and pointed out my grays. This was probably in an effort to sell me more hair products, but this is not the way to upsell. Your clients shouldn't leave feeling bad about themselves. I'm not sure how the haircut is because I didn't opt to have it blow dried, but I do know that it is several inches shorter than we discussed. read more

It has been some time since I graced their establishment. Had a would be stylist that 90% of the time combed my hair using a steel comb. Finally I got out of the chair to soak my hurt stroke scull over her sink. Complained to the manager who did nothing but apologize. I left. As I pulled out you could tell serious conversation with a dumbfounded head shaking stylist. I then heard she was let go. The manager needs to do more than apologize, fix it and compensate, so I walked out. read more

The employees of the Hair Cuttery are SO nice. Toni, a master stylist there, is amazing. I make appointments with Toni every time! The only problem (which caused me to take away a star) is that one employee left me with some split ends on and didn't fix it well when asked. That was before I met Toni. She's excellent! She's one of the first and nicest people I've met in Palm Coast. I would recommend Toni to anyone and everyone who needs their hair cut. Even if your hair is really thick, poofy, or something. I went to Bernadette the first time at HairCuttery she cut and colored my hair perfectly just the way I wanted it! It was beautiful ! It had been texturized the last time I had gone to the Hair Cuttery at Town Square with Albina! I had not liked this because it bought out the curl in my hair and I was going for a straight bob so my fine hair needed all the weight it could get! The second time I went to Bernadette she had my hair cut and before I knew it and could say anything she pulled up a large section of hair and textured it! I was flabbergasted ( she apparently didn't remember she was the one who told me I didn't need to texturize fine hair)! She got my roots to dark and my hair looked horrible, all this for $200! What a rip-off, she said I could come back and get highlights for $100 more! This is the HairCuttery not some 5 star Beauty Salon! I don't know what to do now, you tell these Stylists in Palm Coast what you want and they do something different everytime! read more

I took my son here for a haircut - never again. He still had long hair over the area the woman shaved, she ran the clippers over his hair again and it was still like that. I don't know if they just suck or if they think kid's aren't worth the time and detail. Shampoo is supposed to be included in the price and she didn't do it until I brought it up. After seeing how they work I would not go there for my own hair - no way, no how. Maybe I'm being too picky or unreasonable but after seeing how an actual barber shop cuts his hair and pays attention to detail to make it perfect this place just sucks in comparison. read more

I went to get my hair cut here and it was very clean short wait but horrible work!!!! My hair is completely UNEVEN! Of course i trusted the hair dresser enough to hope she ALL my hair until i got home straightened my hair and realized how horrible it was, i will NEVER go back. i've had people comment to me about how my hair has pieces 2 inches longer than others pieces. read more

Just recently moved to the area and needed everything done. Store was nice and clean and didn't have to wait long to get in the chair. Amber was my stylist and did a wonderful job on my color, highlight and hair cut. She took the time to explain to me the best way to style my new cut to flatter my face. This place sucks so bad!!!! They can't cut hair not blow dry it... The only person I would recommend is Stephanie... Everyone else there can't cut not blow dry. My mom always come home with frizzy hair and I have to fix it for her. They should seriously close that place! read more
