I originally went in with a clueless idea of what I wanted ... in my head partial face framing highlights....which of course was way off and hadn't realized the harsh dramatic effect it'd have on my hair vs what partial highlighting really is IRL lol ... which is how hair disasters happen!!! However, to my big luck! Roxanne quickly corrected me with her amazing expertise, knowledge, suggestion!!! I got a quick highlight 101 and advised Taht the look I'm trying to achieve is balayage lol how off was I!!! lol And in no time she helped me arrive to a more demure, classy, and subtle look (which was is less harsh on my hair too) and created a customized look that compliments my actual skin tone, current hair color!!! She went on to explain that balayage means having dark roots up top and going lighter on the bottom but with a smooth modern transition :) After having read Roxy's previous 5 star reviews, I closed my eyes, shut my camera roll of hair inspos, and said... 'I completely trust you! let's do it' !! and I'm soooooo glad I did!!! She gave me exactly what I wanted sun kissed beachy hair!!!!! Now I totally feel like a hot sexy beach babe!!!
