I've been here several times now each time I'm more impressed than the last. They know exactly how to make your hair look beautiful soft smooth and frizz free all of the girls are great. I've been to three and I have loved all three. It is best to make an appointment but they do take walk-ins. It's in a great location right off PGA Boulevard with lots of restaurants around so you can get your hair done and then go join friends or family for dinner. Very fun festive atmosphere. read more

Visiting my sister-in-law Robin in West Palm Beach, she's there till April. She needed a reliable salon for her blowout. She read a review about Blowtox and decided to try it. She made an appointment with Patricia on a Sunday and I drove her down to the shop. The salon is bright and super clean. Patricia greeted us and got right to work. My sister-in-law was very impressed by the quality and professionalism of Patricia's work. She worked quickly and efficiently, but was very friendly. It was a wonderful experience. When I checked my receipt later on(receipt was online), I saw that I was charged more than the quoted price online. Hair was just a $5 increase but the makeup jumped from $75 to $125! I wish I had been given an explanation for the price difference while I was getting it done or when I had cashed out. The price difference was significantly higher and wasn't told why. I called and was able to get appointments the same day for myself and my two kids ages two and four! Alicia gave my kids the best haircut and was amazingly patient with both of them. She is very good with kids. Patricia did my hair and gave me an awesome blowout and conditioning treatment and got rid my "pool hair"! It's soft and shiny now! I had my hair and makeup done here. The hair was fine. The makeup on the other hand was terrible and they were for pictures. I had to go home, take that makeup off, and do my makeup myself. The owner said that the complaint came in 4 days after the service so they would not issue me a refund. The reason I called 4 days later is because the receptionist was unable to get the system to take my card and said she would call me to get my card info so I wouldn't be late for the pictures. So I waited to see if it was going to hit my card before I called. Let the pictures speak for themselves. The Pinterest ones are what I showed the makeup artist what I wanted and the first one is what I ended up looking like. Never going back here. read more

Was given a quote over the phone after I disclosed the length of my hair , when I got to the salon , the quote increased $50. Manager could not provide the well deserved adjustment. Spending $300 for "formadelhyde free treatment" that got me completely sick , coughing and tearing during the treatment and afterwards for hours. Treatment was awful, my hair is stained , I have red blotches and once washed , nothing changed dramatically, I will NOT recommend this place AT ALL. Money completely . 100% Wasted !!! read more

Really not great customer service. We had scheduled appointments for 9:15, we ended up not even getting washed/taken care of until 9:45. I get people run late, but no one was apologetic and on top of it, we had brunch reservations for my friends bach party at 11, and we ended up not even being done to 10:40am. As soon as we were done it was as if no one cared they ran late. Honestly the blow dry was okay. I didn't feel like we got the best out of it, especially my friend who i treated for her bach day. I was offered a "discount" but it does not seem like an actual discount as i paid $110 and i don't feel it should've been more then $100 originally when i booked online and it said $50 for a blowout. Would not recommend this place. Feel like there is better out there. read more

When I said I wanted the sides more tapered she picked up a piece of hair and flipped it, and you've got the classic shag hair cut. I asked for a water, reception said she was getting one and never moved out of her seat. I told Elif, my stylist, that I wanted a blowout with maybe a little curl for texture. She finished our 45 minute appointment in 22 minutes, giving me nothing but springy curls going in every direction. She knew she did a lazy job. I had to go home and brush out all of her work and recurl my own hair. At the end I go to pay and the reception uses my card on file for payment and just says "you're all set" and doesn't bother to tell me how much I was charged. I used to suggest this place to anyone wanting a blowout, but I will never go back or recommend this place again. The experience has gone to trash. read more

My hair still had shampoo in it when when she put the conditioner on it. She put the conditioner on for 5 seconds and didn't make sure it got all through my hair. When I went to brush out my hair it felt like straw and was all tangled, my hair is usually silky and easy to brush through after I wash it. I looked on the floor when she was done and broken pieces of my hair were all over me the chair and the floor...it looked like I got a hairalso part of my hair was still wet. I lost all my hair last year due to breast cancer chemotherapy treatments and this is the first time I've been able to get a blow out since growing out my hair. I told the woman doing my hair, Amayah, about my story, and when I went to check out they said the blowout was on them. I was shocked at her kindness after such a tough year and a half. Love this blow dry bar. I have been to various blow dry bars in the past and this one exceeded them all. At first we were greeted by an upbeat and pleasant receptionist who offered us a beverage including wine or champagne. They offer many styling services other than just a basic blow dry and the salon is super chic. Also, they carry one of my favorite styling products which is rare to see (living proof). I have had good experiences in the past with this salon, however you will not catch me there again. My husband had a medical emergency requiring a trip to the ER. I called the salon from ER to cancel about an hour before the appt and reschedule and was told (even after explaining my circumstance ) that I would be charged for 1/2 cost of the treatment. I even tried to call later today when I returned from ER to see if they understood my situation. They clearly understood, said the policy was in place regardless of circumstances , offered no words of kindness or well wishes for my husband . I am appalled by this .. buyer beware! read more
