Genuinely worst haircut of my life. Came in and asked for a trim, my hair was long and it now sits on my shoulders? I had to ask her to stop because she was continuing to cut, Cathy even admitted "I cut longer than we discussed". Never once have I had to flip my hair over for someone to cut my hair, even for layers. So now my hair is all different textures and lengths because I had to leave immediately after she made that cut. This isn't even my first time to hair cuttery, I've been going to them since I was 10. The stylist ALWAYS double-checks on the first cut. Their standards for stylists have gone way down. I'm extremely disappointed and will now have to wait for my hair to grow back. ( I understand it's just hair, but let's be real a good hair style and cut makes us all feel confident) I'm just thankful this wasn't a trip before an event or I would be mad. read more

The worst customer service. Today we watched the stylist do her own hair rather than serve any of the clients waiting. And then she went and hid in the back. Another customer brought in a coupon and the stylist refused it - can't be taken but this was after a 15 minute wait so the client just gave up and paid and left. read more

horrible service my daughter came in for a haircut just a trim and they cut like 3,4 inches off her hair not what she wanted at all. Her hair was halfway down her back now. It is not horrible place to go horrible service and they didn't even rectify the situation. I will never come here, She has high anxiety as it is now that just overboard. read more

My wife tried to set up an appointment for a haircut. The person she spoke with told her that she could only schedule a cut with the master stylist. She only wanted a haircut. The other Hair Cuttery in Langhorne makes appointments for any type of cut. Its ashame, we live closer to this location but because of my wife's experience she will drive the extra distance for better service. read more

Back again for my color and eyebrow waxing with Angelica. It's really more like hanging out with a friend catching up. I'm so happy that I can now make an appointment with my favorite stylist. I did have a small wait tonight. I noticed Josh juggling lollipops for kids after their cuts while still taking the time to greet customers and check them in instead of them doing so themselves. My 4-year-old went here to Laura for her first haircut. My daughter was terrified before going in and Laura was kind and soothing right from the start. She gave my daughter a beautiful haircut for her fine, natural curly hair and she left feeling proud of her 'first haircut' and ready to come back for her next one. If I could give this place zero stars i would. I've always gone to hair cuttery because i don't dye or do anything crazy with my hair so i don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a hair cut but the last 2 times i went i left very disappointed, especially the most recent time i went. I will never be going here ever again and do not recommend it. Spend the extra $10-$20 to go somewhere else with people who actually know what they're doing. I feel bad for the stylists who actually do a good job because clearly i've never had them cut my hair. The picture below is from the most recent time i went (end of august) and all i wanted was a trim before I went back to school and my hair was completely butchered. I was very upset and even cried in the salon when I went back the next day to get my money back and had to go somewhere else and pay $80 to get it fixed. I had booked this appointment for my daughter (16 years old - almost 17 w license) as a wash, cut and blowout. We only did the blowout portion as she had a party to attend and we thought to save time on her having to do her hair when getting ready. She was advised that there was a rush to close early for maintenance on the building. With her hair still wet, she was sent on her way. When paying, there was an upcharge for her length that no one advised of. She is a young lady attempting to handle some of life's smaller tasks on her own and was taken advantage of. She, being young and hesitant to be "confrontational", left and called me. I called the store. We were refunded the upcharge but not the escalated tip that was based on the overcharge. No one offered to complete the drying of her hair and an offhand comment was made about me sending my almost 17 year old daughter in for a haircut on her own. My daughter told me that we are never making an appt. with The Cuttery again. read more

Wait times here are ridiculous. There could nobody here and they'll make you wait over 30 minutes before someone sees you. They are not understaffed- there are always just a bunch of people standing around, doing absolutely nothing. Go to the Hair Cuttery over in Newtown- much more efficient! read more
