Solli is top notch. I'm a television news reporter and fly in from Atlanta to LA for Solli and my hair extension needs. NO ONE can replicate what she does. I've been going to Solli for 6 years now and started with wefts. Not ONE bead would fall out between the install and tightening. Other stylists I'd see in the city's I was in, severely damaged my hair with their micro bead technique and within a week of tightening, the entire weft would be slipping. That is not the case with Solli. Her technique protects your hair and lasts for months. Solli suggested switching to tape ins in November to give my hair a break from wefts, after having them for over 5 years. At first I was hesitant to change, but now I'm asking my self daily why didn't I do this earlier?! Solli selected and color matched GORGEOUS Richy Hair tape in extensions that I am obsessed with. She also did all this in 24 hours because it was a quick, last minute decision on my part. The hair is thick, full and so soft. I have hair modeled for Matrix, Sebastian and Bio-Ionic for print, hair shows and educational events. I am extremely picky about my hair. I find it absolutely mandatory to work with someone that knows what she is doing and doesn't damage my hair. I am a busy professional now that trusts my stylist to keep my look current, fresh and understated. Solli's work is incredibly high quality. She does the highlights and these special painted glowing wisps that catch the eye as well. I don't come in with a concept because she knows what will work on me or not. And she is incredibly honest about what will work for my hair type (fine thin dirty blonde). She has great style and phenomenal people skills. And my hair has never looked better. The last time I went in, my hair looked so amazing. I had stayed out of the sun, stayed away from heat styling and started coming to her more often. Which is counterintuitive because she is lifting my hair lighter. But she is very gentle on my hair and for some reason... My hair has never grown this long in my entire life. Even as a teen. I have never in my entire life been able to grow my hair as long as I have since I have been going to Solli. I am very careful about the products I use (no sulfates, parabens etc.), but I believe a large part of it is as echoed in other reviews, I find that I don't have to blow dry or heat style my hair the way that she cuts it unless I am getting really dressed up. I try to come to her with options for scheduling because I would rather come in when she isn't slammed with people. So even though she is always very accommodating, I would rather come when she isn't as busy. When I needed her she was there. After a huge breakup and many pathetic texts, Solli squeezed me in early in the morning so that I could run off to Vegas with incredibly chic new hair one time and I will never forget it! It was a pivotal moment for me and her magic made a huge difference for me in the way that I saw myself. But she does that every time. She's been doing them for as long as I've known her, and has loads of experience with the various methods. I have long, thick, straight Asian hair, that frustratingly enough, was very flat a majority of the time. As a result I had to blow dry my hair every day to get some "oomf."
