I have long hair to my waist and only get haircuts 4 times a year. I decided to change it up and try Hair Force. If you are looking for a quiet consultation, this ain't it. There were kids and babies there. I wondered if I had made a mistake but I felt better as soon as I got to the shampoo bowl. Teresa cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it and gave me dutch braids. She asked about using products which I really appreciated. I did not go home with a head of hair full of goop, just a clean, fresh cut. This is a cozy, little hair/tanning salon. Wow. I saw Sarah, and she gave me a one of a kind hair cut! My hair was outgrown, and it has been over a year since my last cut. It was definitely to my butt and just a huge mess. She was really kind, and listened to me. She offered very thoughtful suggestions to the cut, which I really loved most about her. After leaving, she let me know her policy that if I was unhappy with the cut, I would have the next week to come back and get it fixed for free. So I initially left and had a few days to get used to it. I noticed it was still too thick and bulky for my liking, and I came back. She fixed it! And she was completely HAPPY to do so. I actually styled it for the first time today, and I am over the moon with the way it turned out. I highly recommend Sarah. The atmosphere is a bit messy for my taste. I think this place is perfect for the location and caters well to the area. Timeliness: my appt was for 12, Sarah called me and asked me to come at that time to discuss what I wanted. However when I got there and signed in I waited until 12:45. Sarah never apologized for the extended wait. Hair Treatment: My hair was done by Sarah. She's not very well versed in color processing and therefore takes everything very slow. I don't think she's bad, I just think she's too conservative and with time she will learn how to process color faster. I was there for over 4 hours and my hair certainly doesn't look like what I asked for although I can say it's not terrible either. Oh and she talks a ton about Olaplex, I'm not sure if it's worth the price but I let her do it. I think we could have skipped this step. Eh, who knows? Price: I will say that I'm shocked at the price! Holy Smokes! For nearly $200 I should have just driven out to where I know I'll get what I want....but I learned a lesson about being lazy. I'll definitely be enduring the traffic to get what I want in the future. Coming back? Nah, Sarah offered to do any touch ups if needed but I'd rather go somewhere else. Tara and Tina Rock!!! I recently moved to the area, had a couple of life altering events and I was ready for a new look. I finally called Hairforce and Tara (I think that's her name) answered the phone. She was a great listener and helped me fine tune what I was looking for. I scheduled my appointment with Tina because I saw a review saying she was great with color and cuts. LET ME TELL YOU...SHE IS! Tina also took the time to listen and we discussed style options. She colored ,cut and styled my hair. It was great but I wanted more cut off and Tina was so accommodating. I came back with pics and was blown away of how well Tina matched the pics and personalized it to my face shape and hair type. I love my new look! OH MY GOODNESS!! WHERE DO I START?!! This is a hidden gem... A diamond in the rough! I have been searching for 4.5 years for a great stylist and good salon, after moving numerous times due to being a military family. I'm also a stylist myself so I'm pretty picky, but I don't do hair anymore due to medical reasons. With that said, I am overly excited that I FINALLY found an amazing place and an amazing stylist! HAIR FORCE is the name and SARAH knows her game! Hair Force is a sweet little shop! It's friendly, the prices are comparable to most other shops, if not cheaper. Sarah..... where do I begin with Sarah?! Everything about this lovely women is fabulous! Her patience is one of a saint! She is so sweet! She is so detail oriented! She's meticulous! She takes her time! And she makes you feel like a truly valued client! She's very knowledgeable and helpful. I had called the day before looking to get in to see Sarah. I spoke with, Tara, one of the receptionist, who I later found out was one of the managers. She was incredibly patient with me on the phone. She let me go through a huge spiel, without interrupting me or making me feel like I was a bother. I was running super late, and called to let them know. She was so kind and told me to take my time coming in. When I got there, she was so bubbly and didn't make me feel horrible for being late. I really appreciated that! Sarah came over and we had a consultation for myself and my 2 year old, who has crazy curly hair! Sarah showed me pictures of her own child and reassured me she'd take care of my baby. She cut my baby's hair and it looks great! She was so patient with my baby, talked to them, and made them feel comfortable. My hair is going to be a process to get what I want and need done, but I have the utmost faith Sarah is going to get it done! She was upfront about pricing, and was honest about what she felt needed to be done. She didn't rush me, but instead made my time with her a priority! I did receive a cut from get, that is really great! She told me that if before a week is up, I don't lolor the cut, I can come back to her, free of charge!!! That's crazy amazing!! You have 2 weeks for a color! I really can't have enough about this place! I know I've wrote a lot, but to me, it's hard to find people and places (in general) that have great customer service, and truly care about you as a client/customer. I went with my visiting mom to Hair Force because we both wanted to get our brows done. A friend had recommended the place and I was slightly skeptical but decided to give it a try. While there my mom wanted to get her hair trimmed as well. The staff were super friendly. The woman who normally does the waxing also trimmed my mom's hair(Mom still raves about that cut even though it has been months since she was there). I don't remember the woman's name, but she was very sweet and quite fast when doing my brows. The price was just right too. For both me and my mom to get our brows waxed and for my mom's trim I think it was about 50 bucks(this includes the tip I gave her). Will definitely go back again. read more

I drive by this establishment nearly everyday and I never stopped in until my friend recommended them my hair stylist was named Teresa and she by far met my expectations. I have Asian Hair and it is so hard to color Asian hair and keep it from turning red Teresa did an amazing job this is week 5 since my hair was colored and it stills looks like the first day I had it colored... Teresa is highly recommend by me she is such a sweet person and she gives you quiet time if you want it no need to tell her your life story if you don't want to she is not annoying like some other stylist but she will chitchat if you are up to it read more

This small, family owned salon seems to be a favorite for families on Andrews AFB since it is right off the southern Pearl Harbor gate. It shares space with Tanfastic Tanning. Staff are friendly, but caters to the older clients from my observations of most of the clientele. I tried three times to have my hair cut in a more edgy style and kept getting a short cut that felt like grandma's look. Finally I found Lori there and she has been wonderful to update my look. They also have an excellent natural nail tech for manicures and pedicures who keeps her area and equipment meticulously clean, and does good work, but no acrylics. Great for allergy sufferers because the nail salon is down the hall behind the tanning beds and away from the chemicals in the hair salon. Tanning beds are always clean and working well. read more

She did a great job on my finger and toe nails which have once been done once before in 60 years! She also did a marvelous pedicure. Suki is very hygiene conscious and concerned about cleanliness.
