Im not to picky about my hair and I just wanted to find someone who could become familiar with what I like. I left a fantastic tip (mistake). Next time I called and made an appointment with the same stylist. When I arrived she was just beginning to cut someone else's hair and nobody even addressed I was there. They eventually said it will be a long time before I can get a haircut so scheduling an appointment was worthless. Amazingly the same thing happened the next day. I sent a photo & written instructions ahead per their request, said what I wanted/didn't want repeatedly in person, and she still did the opposite of what I asked for. I went back for correction and once again the same thing happened. I'm gutted. I now have hair that is cut far too short including the bangs that were cut in a way that left them unintegrated from the rest of the hair -they look like a shelf. When I went in for the "correction" they cut even more of my hair away and now it is worse. I'm truly embarrassed to have my hair look this way. Also, be aware that they require a credit card hold for your appointment. Your card will be charged if you cancel without a 48 hour notice. You are also required to sign electronically that you will not receive a refund if you are unhappy with the work they do- they will offer a correction only.

She remains vulnerable to infection so an ordinary trip to the salon was out of the question. Her stylist first swung by her home and dropped off a catalog with wig options and then arranged to assess and cut her hair in a private room at the salon. Let's talk about that...hair loss for females is particularly trying and emotional. Her stylist was compassionate and comforting and worked meticulously to preserve her remaining hair while crafting a style that would be consistent with her taste and would require no hair drying while covering thinnest. She allowed family members into her small work space to provide emotional support while providing a steady stream of hair advice and encouragement. The style was cute and made the most of what she had. This kind hearted soul assured her that if she had more loss and needed it shorter, she could come back the next day or whenever. I am floored by this level of caring and compassion.

The first time she called to change our appointment to another stylist due to a family emergency. I asked if the stylist would be able to do a specific updo and was told, "Yes, No problem." When we arrived, the stylist apologized and told us she didn't know how to do a waterfall braid. Then said she wasn't here the day we were rescheduled to her and wasn't ever asked if she could do the hairstyle. The second situation happened today. My other daughter came in to get her hair done go a dance. We only had an hour window of time. I called several days in advance to bump up her appointment a half hour and was told that our stylist was open and it was fine to arrive at the new time. When we arrived however, we were told that another person was added and we wouldn't be seen until our original appointed time. The scheduler implied on both occasions that I lied and was not apologetic at all for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, my daughter didn't get in until 1/2 hour before she was supposed to be at her destination! Although I like the stylist we came to see, I will NOT be back. Beware of the scheduler. I can overlook this happening once, but twice in two weeks is simply unacceptable.
