I can understand if something happened however it is extremely unprofessional to not even call or text saying she is un able to make it. I came into Hair Haven to see Tanesha Cohen for my first ever weave , I was very nervous and had a lot of questions and from the very first call Tanesha gave me so much care consideration and attention to my questions and concerns which definetely eased my mind before even coming in. The whole process has been a very positive experience. I feel like I have truly gone to the BEST and I am very happy about that ! She matched the color perfectly and is such an experienced professional the passion and love really show. I also have some extremely thick long and often times unmanageable hair that Tanesha actually genuinely made me feel good about . Hair Haven has been the hairtopia for my family and I since I found out Tanesha owned her own shop. On a few rare occasions, she may overlap her workload, but her timeliness never impacts the quality of her work. The main thing that makes Hair Haven much more than the other local salons is that every visit is much more than your average well-spoken, professional, "small talk" type hair dresser. Tanesha is the most passionate, rambunctious, and electrifying, hair STYLIST in the nation. My favorite quality that she brings to Hair Haven, is that she treats her clients like they're genuinely part of her family. It's not all about making money for her, but honestly ensuring she does what's right to keep her clients educated and their hair healthy. I remember I tried to get a relaxer after dying my hair and she absolutely refused, despite the fact that I had been coming there for years. If she does anything wrong and you're not satisfied, she never gives up. She'll bring you back and fix it as soon as possible or do what she can to make the situation right. I have to be honest, the last time I went to her shop, I had a lot of stress from a car accident at work and my parents being in the hospital, that the slightest inconvenience would have set me off. Nonetheless, as she was braiding my hair, I noticed it was nothing like the style I wanted and instead of correcting her midway, I left disappointed without saying anything. When she had posted my picture like she always does, I sent her probably the most hurtful message, I could have ever sent and the entire time she was trying to make things right. She even gave me a partial refund. Even right now, I'm so ashamed and deeply sorry for what I said, because she truly didn't deserve that, and I through away an amazing friendship. So my suggestion for anyone contemplating on whether or not to go to Hair Haven; once Tanesha becomes your hair stylist never let her go. Her ambition is far too great to settle there, so when you see her on TV in the next few years as Oprah's stylist, you're going to wish you did. read more

I found this salon on google about four months ago and now wouldn't go anywhere else! Tanesha knows what she's doing and can recommend what to do with your hair to keep it healthy. She's super quick and not expensive. The salon it's self is nicely decorated. I wouldn't recommend any other place. read more
