I don't know how Nikki does it, but she has brought me to a pale blonde, not yellowish, that I was always looking for. Nikki is an expert in fantasy color, but she's exceeded my expectation in my blonde color. I haven't written a review in a while, but I had to write after our appointment last week. Not only did Nikki knock it out of the park once again with the color, but she also cut my hair. She did as I asked and gave me long layers. I was able to get a street parking spot a few down from the door and it's 2-hr parking so that was perfect. I would say to make sure you have cash for gratuity as well as you can't add it to your card. I was told some people there do accept Venmo as well, but cash is your best bet. I will definitely book again because the entire rest of the day, I was relaxed. I also love this location because then I don't have to drive into the city at all on busy days!

I saved it for my birthday week to make it really special. The salon is beautiful. An attractive brick building on the outside, then three floors of salon and spa to get you glowing from head to toe. Cassie was my massage therapist. The room we used was very tranquil. Soft music, flowing water, soft candle light and a warm massage table. No clutter and impeccably clean. Before we started she sat down with me to go over my questionnaire and see if I had any specific areas of concern, then asked about what kind of pressure I was looking for. The massage was wonderful. She spent time getting in spots and taking out knots. She started off with some neck work, then spent time all over, then finishing with my back. She didn't talk unless it was asking me to move. I was completely relaxed and would recommend her services. It was the best massage I ever had. While I was doing my massage my boyfriend tagged along for a mens pedicure I convinced him to book . He said it was the best foot treatment of his life. The woman doing it, Penny, really took her time and his feet looked like new when I saw them later in the day. He is not one to go for pedicures often but said he felt so comfortable he would go back frequently. The downstairs has a nice manicure and pedicure area. I plan to come back and get one sometime as well as another massage. I'm so glad I found this place. I highly recommend it to for salon and spa services or even to give someone an impressive gift certificate for the holidays, it would be a classy choice.

I was the first person as they unlocked the door to let me in and there was hair still on the floor from the day before.

First and foremost, I want to say that the service here is AMAZING. Not only was Jaclyn so sweet, you could tell that she genuinely cares for her clients. A week prior to my appointment we were on the phone for about 10 minutes where she broke down how it would go down, made sure I felt comfortable and made sure she booked me for a day where she had 4-5 hours set for me because she DID NOT want to rush. When I walked in she was very welcoming, we had an hour consultation on my hair, on past experience, on what I wanted and she helped me come down to the perfect color. On top of that, she KNOWS how to deal with curly hair. I've always been skeptical going to salons because they treat curly hair as if it's just any type, but Jaclyn took care of mine. She understands how curly hair has its own pattern and how you need to be much more cautious on how you cut it and add color to it. I promise you the price you pay for whatever you get done here is absolutely worth it. I love my new hair color and already have my next appointment booked! Go see Jaclyn! She is fantastic and saved my hair which was chemically damaged and totally ruined by another stylist. Jaclyn is an expert in hair color and took the time necessary to correctly color and repair my hair. After my first visit I left the salon feeling like my hair was healthier than it had been in years and the color was perfect. It's hard to imagine being more satisfied. My most recent hair appointment consisted of a color and cut. Jaclyn asked me what was and wasn't working with my haircut. I showed her photos of how I wanted my hair to look and she agreed that the cut would work with the shape of my face and neck. The results exceeded my expectations. And the color is insane. As we are in the midst of a pandemic, I would be remiss if I did not mention that I felt very safe at Hair Passion Salon. Amazing hair stylist and colorist! I have been to Jaclyn many times and she has always done an excellent job coloring my blonde hair! I was incredibly impressed with the platinum blonde look she gave me for the summer/fall but equally impressed with the recent job she did on my hair when I wanted to go a darker blonde for the rest of winter. She is very professional, knowledgeable and you can tell she is very passionate about what she does. After living in the Boston area for seven years, I finally found a place that is able to work with my hair type! During my first visit, I wasn't sure what to do with my hair. Jaclyn gave so awesome suggestions and went to work conditioning it and blowing it out. My hair had never been so soft and healthy looking after a blow out. The second time I went, on Jaclyn's recommendation, I got the Inca Glow treatment. I am now obsessed! As someone whose always been protective about their hair, I was very skeptical about getting a smoothing treatment but it exceeded my exceptions! I have been coming to Hair Passion salon for a little under a year. Each and every visit with Tatyana has been amazing. She talks me through the service before we begin and listens for what I'm looking to achieve. She truly gives the love that my locs need! I always have her undivided attention, and she rarely ever runs late on my appointments. If she does, she lets me know well in advance so I am not waiting long. She even makes sure I have a little snack while I'm under the dryer :). Jaclyn, the owner, is amazing as well. I been coming to this salon for the past 6 months and would recommend to it others, as these folks are one of the most welcoming people I have ever met. I always get greeted once I walk through the door and asked if I want a snack or a drink (water, tea or coffee). I have had the pleasure of having the stylist, Tatyana, start and maintain my locs and can say that I am always more than satisfied with her services, as my experience with her has been amazing. Jackie is the best. I found Jackie shortly after I moved to Boston and needed my short hair trimmed up. Jackie was my second cut with short hair and she completely changed my look for the better! She spends a ton of time with the consultation and made sure to ask whether I was going for a feminine or androgynous short style. As a queer person, it is really lovely having someone who is not only okay with my requests for more masculine hair cuts but also works with me to show me how to style it, teaches me how to use (affordable) products, and offers up new ideas for androgynous looks. I was there a few hours getting a couple different treatments done, and Jaclyn made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She was very upfront and transparent about cost/what each treatment did, which I appreciate so there weren't any surprises at the end. I would give more stars if possible. I have been getting my hair done with Jackie for a year now! I never cared about who I went to for my hair but she completely transformed that. She makes every client feel unique and pampered and has sooo much knowledge on all hair types and the goal you have with your hair. Jacky has been my hairdresser for a couple years now, but last week she did my whole bridal party for our wedding! We could not have asked for a better experience. She came right to the hotel, constantly checked in on me making sure I was somewhat calm, and totally rolled with it when I did a complete 180 on what I wanted to do for an updo (sorry!!). She understands crazy curls and curl pattern better then anyone I've seen in the past, but even better she makes it so I understand my curls also. She performed a free consultation and guided me through it, while keeping my budget and how often I was able to return for followup appointments in mind. She will legitimately Marie Kondo your hair. She just closed down her own business for commuting reasons and her experience shows. She gave me the express Keratin treatment (I think they called it a Keratin Blowout) - for about $120 - which has made my thick, frizzy hair SO much more manageable and smooth during this horrible heat and humidity. She also gave me a nice haircut, taking out a lot of the weight in my thick, thick hair and giving me some nice layers. The salon is a little hard to find (on the second floor above the Indian restaurant) but is stylish and comfortable. The prices were really reasonable. I'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend Savenia to anyone!

I…read morecalled for a quick "root" touch up bc I feel comfortable in salons that have experience w/ GL. Lady said "sure if you can be here very soon we have room". Perfect ya!! Can't wait as I get excited .....then placed me on hold to say sorry stylist doesn't feel comfortable touching your hair our color is not compatible with extensions - ( NOT TRUE) All I wanted was my roots to match as new growth came in which last time I checked isn't coloring my extensions and to give a new salon locally a try. Total turn off! Rude receptionist. Please update website and mention you don't accept new extensions clients who just want color.
