This place is a hidden gem! The massage therapists and staff are top notch. I frequently go for a CBD muscle melt massage and by far, the best massage I've ever had. I started at the Serenity in Medford - that is my go to place for mani, pedi, hair cuts, massages, facials and etc. I love Serenity. The people are amazing and they do their best job to make sure everyone is treated with respect and leave happier than when arrived. The location in Stoneham is gorgeous! The decorations and themes were designed by the owner herself, Jackie. Every room was done with thoughtfulness. My sisters and I always sign up for the spa retreats they have. It's really affordable and usually includes yoga, massage, facial, foot spa, sauna services, and lunch. This usually is a 9-3 service about $300. We met a lot of great women here. It feels like we have this safe space to meet others and develop a very wholesome support group! Also the sound bowl therapy - it was my first and gave my body such an interesting sensation. My mind is so strong I never fall asleep outside when having these types of services but I was knocked out haha. Definitely will frequent will come back for the spa day! read more

This may be the best spa I had ever been to in all of my life. I felt terribly for the fact that I was 15 minutes late for my appointment, believing my appointment was 10:30 and to arrive by 10:15 for check in. I hate to throw everyone's schedules off course. But, everyone was very kind and understanding. I started with a Signature massage with Linda. Still feeling very badly for her waiting for my arrival, she was a sweet and gentle soul. Her pressures were just exactly what I had liked. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session. To follow, I had a facial with Millie. Also defaulting her schedule with my tardiness, we quickly got set up and was ready to roll. Already, I could feel her fun, honest, unfiltered and relieving vibe. I had a few questions with my complexion and all kinds of concerns with the aging process. She had also made me feel comforted by educating by how and what to do with skincare. But, most importantly she helped and reminded me to be comfortable within my own skin. I'm glad there are advocates of that. Between both women, they were absolutely delightful. When I called to find out why, they told me they didn't think it was a good fit, and they had the right to refuse service. I'm horrified. I have been to both this location and Medford for facials massages and pedicures. Always had good experiences. So I booked an appointment with a random hair dresser for a wash, cut and blow dry. She was a senior stylist. I was cutting off a lot as my hair has been falling out post partum. I was really excited and wanted to feel pretty again. We discussed what I wanted, I showed her photos and she confirmed hair would be at my shoulders for a blunt straight cut. She cut my hair quick, didn't really check to make sure it was even and to make it worse, was shorter than what we discussed. When I got home, my husband had to attempt to cut the back to make it look somewhat even. But you can see in the photo, it's all uneven, the front is shorter. It's just all uneven. And I payed $75! This is a $75 haircut that a child could do. I look so stupid and Im too embarrassed to even show anyone my new hair cut. I wouldn't want to go back for her to try to fix it. The owner did respond back to me and offered a full refund, which was very generous. read more

I came to Serenity to get a facial in an attempt to 'reset' my dry skin. It was the best decision I made and I left with glowing skin. My esthetician was Millie and she gave me the best Dermalogica facial I've had in 4 years! I tried another facial in the same area but it could not compare to treatment I received with Millie. I will definitely be going back to her for my future appointments. I also had my hair cut by Allison who is absolutely professional. I am really picky about my hair. She spoke with me about what I wanted, shared her thoughts and cut my hair only after we were in agreement of the cut. The second time I visited her in the last 4 months, she brought my hair back to life! Definitely a full 5/5 stars for the services. But I am giving them only 4/5 because of the experiences I had with the booking associates. I am not sure if they were the same person but they were curt when I called to book my facial with them the first time and another time when I had to reschedule a service, this person laughed sarcastically. I've had other massages in the past, and I have to say this was one of the most extensive massages I've received thanks to Tiffany! The music was very nice and relaxing and the massage wasn't as interactive which allowed you to relax and enjoy the treatment. Only disappointing thing that happened was that we did not get cheese, crackers, and a drink of our choice as promoted on the coupon. It would've been a nice thing to do that'd made everything above and beyond, but unfortunately this wasn't even offered.
