I have noticed several comments with people being irritated because they are not facing the mirror…read more One comment asked, "What's the mirror for then?" Let me answer that. The mirror behind the barber chair in connection with the back bar is a barber "tool," no different than shears, clippers, or the barber chair. It is used by the barber to get a perspective on the haircut from the back of the patron's head. It is easier to tell if the nape area is even when the barber looks back into the mirror, rather than trying to tell from just looking directly at the back up close. Most shops will have other mirrors in the shop for patrons and typically offer a hand mirror when the haircut is completed. As a barber of fifty years myself, this is the answer to those who are wondering why they are not turned toward it. By contrast, beauty salons are used to turning their patrons toward the mirrors, because longer hair usually does not need the same perspective from the back. So it's obvious these comments are from men brought up going to beauty salons.

First impressions are always a must, walked in to two Men on…read moretheir phones wasn't that friendly, hair all over the floor from a lot of different clients, wasn't clean. We showed a picture of how we wanted the hair cut and he just went on and did his thing. Everything was uneven, not faded at all and all this in 5 minutes. What a waste of 20 dollars. Had to fix it up else where. Would I recommend this place? Not even if my hair was on fire. Run far and run fast!
