I normally ask for Kiaya, but have also used Wendy and Christine on a couple of occasions. We have also used them several times for wedding hair and makeup and they have never let us down...and we have ALWAYS had big wedding parties. Lastly, since coming to Capella, I have donated hair three times and my girls have each donated twice, and Kiaya has been more than happy to measure out and cut the ponytails so that I can send them away for wigs to be made. My sisters, mother, sister-in-law, and aunt all frequent this salon, and we all cannot say enough good things about this place! :)

I tend to be very edgy with my hairstyles…read moreand never conservative, so it's always important for me to find a good hair stylist that's not afraid to be bold and just go for it. She definitely had a good eye of what to do and not do and overall listened very well to what I wanted (( for those of you wondering, I currently shave the sides of my head and let the top go long with some layers. Easier said than done )). The inside was lovely, too! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it has a nice atmosphere once you step on in. You really don't notice you're right next to a busy street once you're there. I didn't get a chance to see what type of products they sell - as most hair places do - but whatever was used in my hair was great, and my hair is wicked picky with what I can and cannot put into it. My only complaint and it really has nothing to do with the salon, is the parking. I was adventurist and took a bit of a drive to find some decent parking. If you're coming off 495 south and headed to the place in that direction, there's a one way street to the right just before you reach the place, and that will lead you to some free parking spaces, though they're only for 2 hours. Also like, a minute walk to the place if you park back there, but just a little tip for people who are heading over there. I will definitely be making plans to come visit this place again, though!

The online booking feature is very helpful to judge how long your appointment will be and see the stylist's availability. I got the date and time I wanted with a newer employee, Brittany, and it couldn't have worked out better! Brittany was sweet, listened to what I wanted, and gave me a fabulous full-foil! I added a conditioning treatment which made my hair feel silky, and I left the salon extremely happy with my choice to check them out. The overall vibe of the salon feels like you are walking into a room of friends who have known each other forever. In fact, I think some of them have. It is friendly and lively, yet I was still able to sit and read my book, too. It was clean, the ladies helped each other out (washing hair, answering phones, etc) and you can tell everyone there wants to make the customers happy and the business successful.

The "guests" of the other employees are rude and speak badly about customers, again loudly for all to hear.
