I have been going there for years and have never experienced bad service from anyone there. The stylist go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I always see Ashley, who I consider the best, although they are all excellent. Ashley discusses what you want done and gives her expert advice. I've never been steered wrong. I've had cuts, blowouts, updos, color, highlights and keratin treatments. All have been done to perfection. I'm always complimented on my hair. Always. Not a good experience. Didn't get an acknowledgement when coming in. Didn't get a question during the 2 hours there. You can not pick your color... If you like to be sitting with the previous clients hair, you will be happy. Otherwise, the people is just trying to rush and leave. So much drama between the girls and really inappropriate language. Steer clear! I wish I had paid more attention to the other reviewer's bad experience but I overlooked that bc there were many other good reviews. Now, having been there, I think the good reviews are probably fake. I got a partial highlight. I walked out looking like a zebra with chunky white and brown streaks that I have never in my life seen on me! This was amateur hour! They do NOT know how to do highlights, period. I will have to go elsewhere and spend more money to have this corrected ASAP! The experience was bad overall. The stylist wasn't chatty, that's fine, I'm quiet too so no problem with that. However the only time she DID talk was to bad mouth about another one of her unhappy clients to a fellow stylist! Great salon with super friendly staff and, of course, talent. I was looking for a new salon in the area and took a shot based on the yelp reviews, the extensive website and the 20% off coupon for new customers. The online booking feature is very helpful to judge how long your appointment will be and see the stylist's availability. I got the date and time I wanted with a newer employee, Brittany, and it couldn't have worked out better! Brittany was sweet, listened to what I wanted, and gave me a fabulous full-foil! I added a conditioning treatment which made my hair feel silky, and I left the salon extremely happy with my choice to check them out. The overall vibe of the salon feels like you are walking into a room of friends who have known each other forever. In fact, I think some of them have. It is friendly and lively, yet I was still able to sit and read my book, too. It was clean, the ladies helped each other out (washing hair, answering phones, etc) and you can tell everyone there wants to make the customers happy and the business successful. read more

I will rate it . It goes like this when you go to a Dr you do take there advice BC they have studied 15 yrs. I had gone to that place for years. I clearly stated to the tall, thin, 29 year veteran of Trendsetters. I thought she has to know way more about hair than me. I remember her asking "Do you want me to dry it?" I have always been asked let me style it for you?? I said yah a little to see color and it is cold outside. Then pretty much after, it all made sense she fried my virgin hair from over processin, it took me years to grow my hair that long you bitch and your manager hasn't even called me back!! I haven't got my hair done in a while and I went here, 5 star salon for an affordable price. Every person in that place including clients were so nice. I felt so refreshed and pampered. My hairdresser emily was able to fully transform my dull hair into hair I couldn't even recognize I was so impressed. I can't wait to go back again just to be in that atmosphere! Beware! I don't typically post reviews but one of their newer stylists did my hair the other day. It was AWFUL! Clearly not well trained if you want something beyond a basic cut and color. This was my first visit to Trend Setters Salon. I called this morning at 11am and was able get an appointment today at 2:30pm. Ashley helped me to get rid of my super long hair today. The salon was super clean, staff super friendly keeping the environment fun, and I am absolutely in love with how my hair cut turned out. Ashley did an amazing job! I will defintaley be going back to Trend Setter for all my hair needs. read more

*Posting on behalf of my sister in law Kathleen* Do not go here! Scheduled an appointment for my 87 year old mother for a wash, cut, dry and perm. When we arrived we were greeted kindly by our stylist Tina and when told the appointment was for my elderly mother her tune changed. After understanding this information she refused to give my mother a perm and stated she no longer had the time. After being turned away and ignored another employee was kind enough to find us another salon that could take our appointment and drive us there too. She helped us find an appointment at and brought us to Hair-M, another salon down the road and they treated my mother with the respect and dignity she deserved. Her hair was phenomenal too! Apart from the kind employee who helped us bring our business elsewhere I have nothing good to say about Trend Setters. Customers beware especially senior citizens and elders you will be treated with utter disrespect. read more

This is my go-to salon and Christina is my go-to stylist. She is absolutely amazing & I am so glad I was referred to her. She's taken me from a brunette, to a blonde, and then to a redhead. I cannot recommend her more! I've also had Brittany do my hair when Christina was unavailable and Brittany was great. Let me start off by saying that I am not proficient at keeping up with trends and beauty. I am maybe just a couple of steps above a 5 year old playing with their mother's makeup when it comes to beauty regime know how. That being said, I am a tough customer for a hairstylist. I just don't know what I want or what looks good on me. As a result I've gotten some pretty terrible haircuts in the past thanks to also being frugal and going to cheap places. Once I stated going to Trendsetters, I have never been back to a bargain basement hair salon since. They are AMAZING. I go in there and say. "I don't know what to do with my hair. I need something super easy to style, or even better doesn't need to be styled, but I want something different than what I have now." and you know what? A short time later I come out looking fabulous and confident that although I might not be able to get my hair to look as good as she did, she taught me how to still make it look great with minimum effort. I've been here now multiple times both for routine haircuts and special occasions and I have NEVER had a bad experience. They've never made me feel bad for not knowing what I want or even my habit of only coming in for haircuts a handfull of times a year. I always leave there feeling beautiful and confident.
