I Called to make appointment during the week the owner said they only take groupon during the weekends.I called Saturday morning for appointment the owner now says they only accept groupon during the week .He did say if I paid cash he would charge me the same as groupon price. I would give a zero if I could. I came in with my husband for a beard trim to have specific questions instructions if a simple beard trim. When I entered a girl nicely and politely greeted me, while i was enquiring the wait time, Mr. Khalil the rude owner entered and asked mw to sit without telling how much time it would take. After 25 minutes to wait I got to the hair cutting chair, got my hair cut and he charged me $3 extra and he charged others. I thought its tip included but it wasn't. I usually don't give bad reviews, however, this Hairtime salon did not leave me with another option. So I bought a Groupon deal. How on Groupon it does not say anything about purchasing it good for only weekdays or weekends and nowhere on the advertisement does it say that it requires to call to schedule an appointment. I schedule it through the online portal as it was allowed and during scheduling online, nowhere was mentioned that the coupon needs to call at the store or anything. I schedule and they accepted that requested schedule. Now I am calling Hairtime Salon for adding the services as my Groupon is for hair, shave, and hot-towel and I schedule only for haircuts (as the online portal did not allow me to book multiple services). So when I call them, the first lady answer and then hang up. I call back, and then she hands over to the other guy to answer, and that guy (oh boy!) was rude guy, telling me Groupon is valid only for weekdays and then saying only for two weekdays (Tuesday and Thursday) when I said on Groupon nowhere it mentioned he was like we don't have time to update everywhere. Well, let me tell you, it is your business, so it's our freaking duty to update it if you advertise it and cause people trouble because simply you just don't have time. A plethora of people on Groupon, yelp, and google has reviewed it, however, I thought I should try it as it is next to my home and recently moved to the area. The way he answers the questions in a rude manner and as if person scheduling is some cheap a** and they do not deal with them. They have nice advertisement on Groupon to attract people but don't want to accept that voucher. It is NOT WELCOMING and MUST NOT to go place. I would NEVER even tell my enemy to even try this conning and rude place where they DO NOT RESPECT customers and DISCRIMINATE based on the mode of the payment. Everyone at Salon are very unprofessional. First of all , I had Groupon and when i called to schedule an appointment they said cancel your Groupon and will give you same price . I went for Root touch up they used very bad product which gave me a skin reaction/irritation and when i compliant about it they said they did nothing. and she kept rest of the color and guy said keep it and will use it for someone else . How i am supposed to know that color they used on me was not a week old which gave me an reaction? When i ask about blow-dry , lady named sushma said "why do you need full blow dry ? Are you going to attend any function?" . Finally she did blow dry in less than 5 min and gave me her personal number and said come to my house and will give you better price . First experience here was okay for the price. The second is the worst haircut I've ever had. MY HAIR IS TOTALLY BUTCHERED! I told the stylist: "Don't cut more than 3/4 inches off." I blew out my hair this morning (she cut it last night) and turns out she took cut 6 1/2" inches off a layer in the back!!!! Wow. As good as it gets. Ginny(sorry if I'm spelling that wrong!) is amazing. I'm a pain in the butt when it comes to my eyebrows. I like them a specific way and like them to be trimmed but not too trimmed. She listened to everything I had to say and even allowed to me to check with the mirror as she carefully did her thing. This place is ridiculous and a scam! I purchased a groupon for Brazilian wax. During my first visit, the owner redeemed my voucher and informed me that I can visit anytime for the remaining sessions. He put my name on a notebook and circled numbers (I am not sure who follows this system of tracking customers by writing in books in today's world!). This place was a low maintenance and below average in everything including ambiance, service, and hospitality towards customers. I have decided to continue to go as I already purchased the service. So I visited this place on March 8th for the last session. Owner said nothing at the beginning, I had the service done, tipped the woman and asked the guy to mark my last session. He then tells me that all Groupons are expired and he will no longer accept it!!! This was a total surprise to me as I was never communicated when he redeemed my voucher. I was so upset and did not want to argue and when asked how much I owe them, I was informed that it is $40. I was bummed, for a place with such a low standard, he was charging $40. Also, this price was never listed website for any services either. I have no idea on what basis he charged me $40. Funny that he had specials on their website the wax price was listed as $25. He didn't even honor me the special price nor my Groupon bucks as we all know even though a voucher expires the amount paid still never expires. This owner is so greedy not to let me know about groupon money nor honor a decent price. Totally terrible experience, I can say more and more but its just waste of time discussing about merchants like this one! I brought this up to Groupon and hopefully cheap places like this are not encouraged. The reason I had to share is this, I hope nobody else will experience similar situations and be ripped off. If you really want to spend $40 on brazilian wax there are many high end salons, probably more hygenic and worth every penny, but a place like this is a NO..NO..
