This is the Worst experience I ever had!! Julie doesn't deliver what she promised! Looks like she doesn't know what she is doing! I have the texts she sent me where she tells me she can achieve this look in 2 sessions and look at the results , after bleaching my hair 2 times , spend 7 hours every day for 2 days , and she added black hair color to my fresh bleach hair and turn it into I really believe that the pictures she has in her web site are not her work, and I talk for experience. Now she is saying I show her a wig , there is a photo of the before and after. And now she is saying that she should it say that I need it a few sessions, not a couple, she will make any excuse to try to cover her BAD WORK ! now attacking a customer who is not happy with having her hair bleach 2 times and end up with dark hair is incredibly sad and unprofessional!! I have not been to a hair salon in more than 5 years because I felt like no one in town knew how to do curly haircuts. Julie knew exactly what to do for my hair and gave it the perfect shape. I have 3C hair and she was meticulous to embrace my texture and curls. I finally found someone to go to and would strongly recommend anyone with curly hair to go to her. She knew what she was doing. I had a busy day but next time I go I will update my review with pictures. Also for people that are not familiar with Sola salons it is her own studio so it is a private hair cut in a professional setting. That made the experience even better because our conversation was private, it wasn't loud, no chemical smells from hair dyes (if you are sensitive to that). Just a relaxing, enjoyable experience all around. As I said before, highly recommend. P.S. I personally like the location too because there is a lot of parking spots and it is a fairly new development so everything is very clean and quiet. read more

My mom said she wouldn't leave an updated review but I didn't so here we go. My mom's hair is roughly 2.5-3 inches long due to multiple brain surgeries. Julie had cut her hair and dyed it prior to surgery and did great. But when my mom had asked Julie if she did extensions, Julie told her "yes I do tape in extensions" so my mom was under the impression Julie had done them before and so she went ahead with it. My mom picked out the color she wanted and Julie ordered a completely different set. Then she told my mom she had to dye her hair to match the extensions she was dying. Her hair doesn't even begin to match the extensions now. Half way through putting the extensions on she told my mom she had never done these before so she had to look up YouTube videos on it. She then ran out of extensions and tried to leave the middle of my mom's head without extensions, followed by trying to convince her to put black extensions instead. Julie then had to dye her sample extensions to match my mom's other extensions which she rushed through and they are spotted or half dyed. After the 6 hour appointment my mom came home and saw where Julie had missed dying the top piece and left a blonde circle. We had to cover it up with a sharpie. Julie said the next appointment (4-6 weeks out) she would fix all the spots she knew she missed with dye. My mom wasn't able to do anything with her hair due to the extensions being too close to her scalp and placed in plain view. My mom then went to take a shower and in the middle of her shower the top piece of her extensions completely fell out. My mom then messaged Julie and told her they fell out, messages are all in the photos attached. I ended up taking out the rest of my mom's extensions out as she rightfully didn't want to go back. Julie never responded to my mom's last message and didn't even offer a partial refund so my mom lost about $640. read more

Not only did she get me in quickly but she helped me understand all the terminology and what to realistically expect.
