I'm also afraid to use any heat on it, since the choppy layers could lead to even more split ends -- and I hate split ends! I truly believe Rachel doesn't have experience working with thick, chunky hair. My hair used to be beautifully thick, and now it feels like I have no hair left, especially with these short bangs. It seemed like she didn't know what to do once she saw how much hair I had, and instead of managing it properly, she just kept thinning it out. She even started using a lot of hair products, and once I washed my hair at home, I realized just how thin it had become. I also realized she didn't let me see my hair in the mirror while she was cutting it -- only after she finished styling it. I can't help but feel like she didn't want me to realize how much she had thinned it until it was too late. I'm not being dramatic -- it's just very hard to find a stylist who actually knows how to handle thick hair. On top of that, Rachel was chatting with her friends while cutting my hair, which was really unprofessional and distracting. She's a nice person, but I truly believe she only knows how to work with normal to fine or damaged hair that needs repair -- not thick, heavy hair like mine. People always compliment me on how thick my hair is; I've always stood out because of it. But now I feel so insecure about how thin and short it looks. I can't style it the way I like, and I'll probably have to wait a year for it to grow back. I'll never be coming here again.

My makeup was flawless, and I was incredibly impressed with my hair. My hair is thin, see through and my scalp shows. Marissa made my hair look like I had a full set of hair. First off, this place is one…read moreof those FEW places where you can actually talk to a person when calling in and not some answering machines that get back to you 1-3 business days. I called and as soon as I hung up, someone texted me to book an appointment. I was arranged with Rosary, who was not only amazing at what she does, but also so kind, friendly, welcoming and felt like home. She did not only give me the haircut that I wanted and asked for but she also fixed the haircut that the other salon butchered. So grateful for her and her magic hands! The day I got a haircut was the weekend full of parties I had to attend to and it worked out perfectly because my hair was camera ready. I got the pictures back and I loved my hair so much. Got so many compliments about it. Lastly, this place is such a vibe. Extremely organized and clean. Everyone minds their own business but also very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place and if you aren't booking with them, what are you even doing?!
