Laura cut my hair and she is a top class professional, discussing and making suggestions on the style and cut that would best suit me. Paul's team are a lovely bunch, obviously picked for their bubbly personalities as well as their top notch haidressing skills. The banter between the group is always a joy to behold! None of your po-faced, 'too cool to be friendly', jeans worn 'builders bum' style youngsters here! A trip to Paul's salon is always an enjoyable experience, from the guaranteed warm, friendy welcome, the excellent coffee and banter to the super hairdo at the end. The new location off Lesbourne road means you do have to allow a smidgen of extra time to find parking however this is more than outweighed by finding yourself in the middle of Trumpton style village with a butchers, a bakers and in this case, a candlestick seller. For anyone considering going to Paul's do go it is a lovely experience. To anyone who already goes I guess you are hooked too!

Its not full of 18 yr old 'senior' stylists who ignore what you want, or would look good on you, but charge you a fortune for walking out looking WORSE than when you walked in Oh no- this place is MUCH better than that. They have a great hairdresser called Sam who Has sorted out my over dyed and dry barnet into something resembling a 'good look'! there is also the most wonderful beauty therapist based in a little room at the back- Jessie offers all the most upto date treatments and technical machinery, as well as threading and waxing (and yes she will do 'hollywoods'!)... but is pretty reasonable in her pricing for the area, AND she's really nice! I have quite long hair and trying to get me to cut anything off it is a battle. Amelia was really great. I was visiting London and was aghast at how scorched my hair had become in Greece. After checking…read morereviews on Yelp, I emailed TOKITO salon overnight and was able to book in for lunch the next day. I walked in very cautious because with a stylist who is a stranger, a lot can be misunderstood - plus, I have hair almost to my waist, and after encountering some stylists who seemed to feel like a few extra unasked inches off was not a big deal (wut), I am scared of new stylists... but no need for fear, here! Hiro is very attentive and listens very carefully, and clearly had no agenda but to apply his expertise to my direction. Hiro cut my hair dry so I could make adjustments as we saw the progress; he was very conservative at my request, and didn't complain in the least when I reconsidered my asks twice and wanted to cut even more to address the dry ends. It was clear I could trust him not to overdo it, which made me trust his judgement. After the main trim, he did a fantastic wash and head massage, used the dryer on only medium heat (which is so much better for your hair!) and did a little more touch-up trimming once my hair was fully blown out. I walked out feeling like a whole new person, and am super grateful to not have haggard hair for my last few days in London!

The manager Tyrone is so rude, he made fun of how my previous hairdresser done my hair and pushed products and treatments on me. I also heard him talking rudely to the other staff there.
