This was the first time I've had Andrea as my stylist. I wanted a huge change to my color from the typical blonde balyage that I usually do and showed her a pink-rose gold color that I loved. (Side note: I have asian hair so my hair type is very pigmented with black and I've had blond balyage done for the last two years.) Aware that it'd take a couple of sessions to get to my desired look, I trusted Andrea during the entire process to get my hair from golden blonde to the nice pink sunset hue that my hair is now. It took two appointments to get it to how it is now (I'll update and add a picture once I get a nicer pic of myself :P) and I could not believe how much attention and care Andrea put in to get me loving my new hair and color. For example, I had to reschedule my 2nd appointment due to a conflict in my schedule, but knowing that I wanted my hair to be the lovely pink before Christmas, Andrea called me to explain what she could do to my hair color to get me the pink I wanted in half the time (2-3hrs vs 6hrs). I felt so much better knowing that I could fit the 2nd appointment back in with my schedule and have my hair color pink by Christmas. She made sure I was comfortable and understood what she could achieve for my hair color. On the day of my 2nd appointment, Andrea colored my hair to a bright pink which I felt was a little too bright for me, but thinking that it'd wash off, of course I didn't say anything. Andrea had been working on another client while I was getting my hair blow dried by the assistant when she noticed I wasn't looking very happy with the end result. Andrea was so thoughtful and talked to me about how I felt towards my hair and I did tell her that I felt it was too bright. Andrea immediately offered to wash it several times to get the brightness out and get it to my desired look. She reassured me with her positivity that I should leave happy and in love with my hair color and that she was going to make sure I did. I really loved that aspect about Andrea especially when some stylists can be short on time or patience with this kind of client request. She was professional, calm, and reassured me that she was going to get me to love my hair. Three hours and a blow out later, I couldn't believe how much color Andrea was able to wash out from the bright neon pink that it was to the soft pink-sunset hue I was looking to have. Throughout the whole process Andrea was attentive and made sure I was happy and in love with my hair color. I left exactly as she had wanted--IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR COLOR. It's been about 3 weeks now since I've had my hair colored and the pink-sunset hue is still as beautiful as it was when I left the salon and I've gotten so many compliments on it. People have complimented that my hair color fits me so well and that it reminds them of the sunset colors in the sky. I am really in love with my hair especially since this is the first time I've done any other color besides blonde. I am so happy with it and can highly recommend Andrea for your hair color dreams. I am looking forward to finishing my 'do with Andrea on my next appointment and lightening up the darker pieces of my roots so that I can fall in love with my hair some more. Let me start by saying, Andrea is such a sweetheart!! I went in on my birthday to get a haircut for my wavy hair. She styled it afterwards and my hair looked like it could be in a shampoo commercial!! Haha. At the end of my appointment she told me if there's anything that doesn't look right after you wash it to come back so she can make adjustments. It happened that there was a little part of my hair that I wanted shorter. I went back and she fixed with no problem and I've never loved my hair so much!!! Andrea is amazing! I had recently applied henna to my hair which can sometimes cause a reaction if you try to go lighter. Andrea was super knowledgeable and did a test strip first to see how my hair would react and luckily the lightener worked perfectly and from there she did an amazing balayage to my hair and added a red gloss which looked amazing!
