From my previous experience of having my lashes done for two years at another place: burning is NOT normal!! I had to take a break from getting my lashes done because of inflammation of my eyes when I've gotten them done here. I convinced myself this was "due to something else" and gave Mix Salon the BENEFIT of the doubt. Months later I come back and it burns again; with yet another visit to the doctors office. Be careful. Parking sucks- horribly; though that's not something the place controls. It's not their fault they're located at a place that'll nearly guarantee you're late if you drive. So leave like, an hour early from your appointment. Pricing is very shady: the appointment app they use will hook you with "special offer deal", and randomly change your appointment time. By the time it's too late to cancel the promotion suddenly disappears and your card is charged the normal price! Difference of nearly $100 counting the tip they automatically charge. The owner Jen has been doing lashes for years: but she moved away and left the place to her associate. She "manages" from afar; while still being able to text you in a manner that's unprofessional. But that's just me. In summary: 1. Every single time it burns!! 2. Appointment booking is really shady. 3. Prices are "cheap" but end up sky high with automatic charging and automatic tip regardless of whether you think it's botched or not. 4. Owner moved away leaving the place to a girl with less experience. 5. Parking sucks. Leave an hour in advance. Or uber/public trans it. That's if you're willing to take the risk with the burning, eye inflammation, and wallet assault. We can all do better.

She has such a skill for making my lashes and spray tan look natural. Its perfect for my job as a personal trainer and a full-time nurse. People always compliment me on my lashes and say that I am glowing - its nice with my busy schedule to wake up in the morning and just feel beautiful without having to put any effort in. I usually tell people who compliment me that my tan and eyelashes are actually fake and they are shocked - they usually end up getting Jenny's contact information because she is just the best. The only thing to learn about fake eye lashes if it is your first time is to read about eyelash cycles. Be sure to take care of them - no oils on your face and you will be fine. Its the a way better investment than mascara. My last comment is on the ionic foot bath - i did it for the first time and didn't feel any different immediately after but the next day i slept 14 hours. no joke! if you know me you know that I never sleep - i am one of those 5 hours only OCD have to be doing something at all times type of people. the ionic foot bath left me feeling so rejuvenated the next day. so be sure that you are able to get some good rest the next day if you try it. cant wait to try it again and see if I see different results. xo

I'd also look like crap for several days with the huge welts left from extractions as well as the bright red-red of my hyper-exfoliated face. I'd also drop over $100 on the product that was pushed on me, most of which I'd use a few times with limited success. This week I decided to try out Jennifer's new space at Studio 2, and she might just be the first aesthetician to convert me! The appointment itself was really nice: calming space, soothing (but not cheesy) spa music, gorgeous smelling skin care products, a pain-free eyebrow wax, and a phenomenal shoulder and scalp massage to round it all out. And my skin! Jennifer is equipped with the best tools of the trade to leave everything exfoliated and moisturized but not prey to day-after breakouts, sunlight sensitivity, or extreme redness. And she's a super nice person that I really enjoyed spending 90 minutes with. The day after my appointment, I had multiple coworkers tell me my skin looked amazing. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. On my last appointment, they released Molly early and rescheduled be with a provider I have never seen. Noone from Lash Co bothered to call or let me know that my appt had changed and that Molly was not going to be taking care of me until I received a call from the front desk wondering why I was not at my appt. I explained that the only reason I ever went to Lash Co was to receive services from Molly and that no one contacted me for approval to move my appt to a different provider. I never approved the appt they were calling about and that appt was not for me. We like to keep our hair straight and sleek but could never find anyone skilled at flattening curls while keeping shine and softness. We tried countless salons and even tried our luck at DryBar as that is what they are known for. But no one could ever seem to take out the poof and we were always left disappointed. Then we met James at Do Crew Salon. My hair has never been so soft and sleek; I did not think it was possible. My daughter's hair is smooth and looks like she was born with straight hair; he did what we were starting to loose faith was even possible. The atmosphere is upscale but also so comfortable and peaceful. James is easy to talk to, takes great care to give you exactly what you ask for, and I felt comfortable and trusted him right off. He immediately knew how to fix the gold tint to my daughter's chunky highlights and corrected the color for her seamlessly. On the other hand, I am in the midst of growing out my natural grey and He was able to provide tips and products to help along the way. My daughter can't wait for a calico color with him next and we will both be weekly customers as long as him and Do Crew Salon will have us because he was able to do with our very curly hair what no one else in town has been able to! Also, the Sea Change Amethyst Oil is a game changer; my hair stays sleek and smooth all week and it never makes it greasy like other oils did.
