If I could I would give zero stars. I went in for a wax just for the face and I told the lady (Amy) it's for an event for the weekend. Well she took off skin on my lip twice and thinned out one eyebrow more than the other. Because of the skin being ripped off and scabbed over on my lip, I could not wear makeup to hide the fact that Amy (the woman who took care of me) had thinned out my eyebrow. So because I was disappointed with the results I tried to contact the manager who still has yet to contact me back two days later. I will be finding a new salon for all my needs. read more

I just got my hair colored by Jen. She did an amazing job on my hair!! At first the color was a lil lighter than expected but she made sure that i was going to leave a happy customer! Horrible horrible horrible horrible service. I can not express enough the unprofessional services I received just for a TRIM. I called ahead and booked a 3:30, and came. Michelle is who i got and she had made me WAIT to start until she was done curling her own hair. Then I was told "YOU HAVE SO MUCH DANDRUFF" after I sat down in the chair, I know for a fact I didn't but I had put dry shampoo in my hair that morning which could be mistake but DONT SCREAM IT. Then proceeded to make every assumption that I didn't take care of my hair and that I use "unprofessional products" and that she only knows professional products, when I use matrix and products they carry at their location. I had sat 10 mins into my appointment of her embarrassing me and expressing to me the items I needed and then and I quote said " well we don't have shit here so you can't get it here". Then answers the phone rudely to another customer and hangs up. After a lady comes in says I have a 3:30 appointment. SHE DOUBLE BOOKED. This Lady got upset and she was exptremely rude to this customer as well. After the customer left she talked poorly about the customer to me making me extremely uncomfortable. She then did not section my layers to trim just randomly grabbed pieces and said she was done and couldn't continue because it would be "too short". Then told me to just go buy the products at another store and I would be fine. I ASKED FOR A TRIM NOT YOUR HALF ASS HAIR CUT AND BS EXCUSE TO YOU NOT FINISHING. My ends are still dry on my other layers and I paid 25 f*ucking dollars. OH WAIT ALMOST 35 because she so happened to accidentally forget to give me 10$ of my change. And I said you need to give me 10$ still you didn't give me my full change. Shout out to a couple of Stars here, first is the wonderful Jen. She has done my hair from color to cuts and I absolutely love everything that she has done for me, from color correction to making sure my hair was evenly cut when I went to another salon that cut it incorrectly, she is the best. I have made it a point to see her when I need work done. Second is the ever talented Erica she is my husband's go to, in fact even my nephew Chris goes to her because she is a miracle worker and very consistent with her work. I used to love going here-it's convenient and I like the staff because they are friendly. However, this place is getting a bit ridiculous in pricing, it seems they keep raising their prices every year. Moreover, on my last visit I was charged more for a master stylist haircut when I never requested a master stylist. I was a walk-in, and the person cutting my hair happened to be a master stylist without my knowledge. I didn't think that I should have been charged more for something that wasn't upon my request. This is my second time coming for a trim. (Soktha) does a wonderful job! The first time I went I got my hair washed and styled for 24$. Since soktha wasn't working I decided to try someone new (noy) I called in for a trim for me and a friend. I was told to come in at 5 and was seated first. My haircut was rushed, no shampoo or styling and was charged 19$. On the menu it clearly says "adult cut AND shampoo 19$." Last time I checked a trim was 12$ so that was disappointing. read more

Insanely angry right now. My normal place was closed so i went here for a trim cause i have a date. Explained to the asian lady that i wanted a fade on the sides, rounded with tapered bangs 1.5 on sides. "Uh hu ok" she immediately shaves all the way around the crown of my head and said "high fade right?" now theres no putting it back so i let her finish whatever she had in her mind but when she turned me back to the mirror i looked like bert from bert and ernie. I have a round head and a 4 inch pad on the top is ridiculous for a grown man. Long story short i had her shave it all at 1.5. Sadest part is she shaved one sideburn a half an inch up my head away from ear and the other right at my ear so now my head looks lopsided. Take a few minutes to connect with ur client before and look at the head your cutting from more than one angle! Now im a guy and i can deal with a bald head for a month or so but i feel really bad for any women that walk into this boobie trap. If u go here dont use this chick. read more

I had long hair and I just wanted an inch off. I know I have a lot of dead ends but I only wanted one inch so I can keep my hair long. My hair end up being cut 5 inch and it was short and I was not happy. The cut was not a v line which it looked horrible at the end. I will not be coming back to this place. I will just stick to my place in Sacramento because they know to only cut one inch and listen to their clients. However the lady was nice to talk too, but my hair came out horrible. I love the fact that I can just call the day before to make an appointment as my schedule is a little crazy and never know when I can fit it in. I always go here and all of the ladies always remember my name and are always very helpful. My haircut is quite simple but everyone working there is very professional and they all really care about how you look and are doing. However, my favorite hairdresser by far is Samora! She is always smiling and has such a great attitude and she always remembers everything about me even though I only see her once every 3 or so weeks for about only 20 minutes. This is not even her primary job as she has another full time job during the day so she is only available on weekends. The haircuts are very reasonably priced and they seem to offer a lot of different services and they have a wide selection of products. One thing you will also quickly notice about this location is how they do not have a receptionist BUT what really impresses me is the teamwork they all have and everyone gets along SO well and they all stay busy checking in guests, answering the phone or what impresses me the most is how they all take turn sweeping up hair to keep the place clean. I am a manager and can quickly spot a good culture in any establishment and I can tell you that here they are all 100% committed to delivering quality service at a very fair price without pressure selling you to buy extra. The establishment is always very busy on the weekends and I can tell you I never plan ahead and every time I am in and out in no less than 45 minutes at the very most! I do not know who the head manager or owner of this location is as everyone seems to take ownership but I can tell you that they should not change anything! Keep up the great work and keep up that spirit of caring and going above and beyond for a fair price and they will continue to have major success! Can you tell I like this place?
