Went in for a haircut and was taken in pretty quickly by Alexis. I had an idea of how I wanted my hair cut, but was terrible at describing what I wanted. Luckily, Alexis was very friendly and patient with me. She gave me a volumizing hair treatment, which I had never done before, and left my hair super soft before she cut it. She then went ahead and cut my hair with the little direction I gave her and did an awesome job! Alexis is definitely my go-to person now when I need a cut! read more

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. The stylist (Angelica) didn't cut or color my hair like I wanted it even after having her re-do the cut a second time. My color turned out a bright Orange/red and looked neon on top. I asked for a natural copper color. After all this, my stylist WAY over charged. She added on serviced not listed and not discussed in advance. She charged extra $10 for length, which she only took off about 3-4 inches if that. My hair was nowhere NEAR long enough to begin with to justify the length charge. She also charged $93 for coloring my hair when the price list said $67! She charged style as a separate extra charge of $18 when there is an option listed on the price board for a package of cut/shampoo/style all in one cheaper price! This is not the first time I have been over charged and not given the cut I want. I DO NOT recommend this place!! read more

Worst experience ever don't go here .i came into this salon on Thursday 2-27-20 I asked the stylist if she could do a certain hair look and even showed her a picture. First off instead of bleaching the hair she dyed it blonde I asked if it would turn out looking similar she said it would and that it would be blonde, when she finished it she informed me she also added rose gold. My hair turned out and orange/ red color . It cost me 120$ I told her I wasn't happy with the way it turned out, she then said if I come back tomorrow she would add partial highlights for 65$ more. I was not willing to pay her more nor did I trust her to fix it. I have also contacted corporate to try to have my money refunded. read more

I decided to try getting my hair done somewhere new. I got my hair done by YUNI. It was literally her second to last day at HairMasters. She recently opened her own salon called Moon and Mirror Hair Studio in downtown Redlands. (Look it up on Google) I set up an appointment, which she gladly took my 4:30pm appointment for COLOR! She was so sweet from the moment we started. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and look at the photos of hair that I wanted mine to look like. Like other reviews I've seen, we had awesome conversation. YUNI is an artist and does great at her job! I was very impressed at how happy she got me to be once I saw my final look. I usually leave a salon feeling like "I mean it looks betterrrr than before", but this time I left thinking "Damn I look good". Thank you again Yuni for my "feeling myself" moment. I recently kept seeing people with beautiful looking ombre hair and decided that's what I want for myself but I needed to find someone I trusted. I remembered that my friend Yunuen (Yuni) did hair and reached out to her. She is AMAZING. And I'm not saying that just because she's my friend. She did balayage and ombre to my hair, cut and styled it. I cannot stop staring at it! She took her time to make sure it was perfect. She always makes great conversation and is amazing with people. I've had my hair done here many many many times, I always come back to Yuni whenever I want something different or I played around with my own hair and messed it up (which happens pretty often). The first time I met Yuni, my mom brought me to her after I attempted to give myself a haircut, and she made my hair look beautiful without taking off a ton of the length. I've also accidentally turned my hair green before and she was able to correct it back to blonde. Okay, one of them (an older woman) was decent, but didn't listen when I asked her to keep the top a bit longer, and the other two do not know how to fade for the life of them. I brought my 12 year old daughter here for a hair cut, I'm new to the area so I thought I'd give this place a try. I told the stylist to cut off only an inch and give her some bangs. The bangs turned out ok but she kept cutting off the length. By the time she was done , her hair was about 2.5 inches shorter and it was a really bad cut. My daughter was pretty upset and cried, never again will I go there, I had to take her some place else to get it fixed. read more

Yunuen This was the first time going to this salon. My hair needed major work. I've always been a blonde. Nervous for a drastic change. I went from blonde to grey. I took a picture of the style and color. Yunuen listened and gave me what I asked for. It seems darker than I expected. She explained why and said it will lighten in a few washes. She also said, if I'm not happy within 7 days, she will do whatever she can to change it to make me happy for free. My anxiety disappeared. I love my style. And the color is pretty. By far the worst haircut experience I have ever had. The lady I had seemed incredibly rude and inexperienced. While I was explaining to her what I wanted, she cut me off halfway through and then began cutting. No shampoo, even though it was said to be in the price, and barely any water. Convenient, good price, but not all of there stylist know how to cut hair. Some do a good job but some have no business cutting hair professionally more like hair cuts you would get at home from a friend or family member trying to learn then have to go get fixed after they butcher you. The place is kinda dirty and does have roaches. So since I don't like dirty places or playing haircut roulette I don't think I will ever use this salon again. read more
