This place is really understaffed all the time so if you need fast service don't go here. Last time I went I waited 45 minutes for the only two barbers there to finish cutting two people's hair. Service requested was a hair cut for our daughter. Been here twice before I wanted to leave a review. Overall I'm satisfied. Every stylist has a different way of how they try to cut a toddler's hair, and the two stylists we had were a patient. The younger girl we had though seemed nervous that I would get upset if our daughter's hair came out a bit uneven... after multiple times of me trying to tell her that if she keeps requesting my daughter sit by herself, my daughter will cry because she's afraid of strangers she finally let me sit with her in order to calm my daughter down for the haircut. I had my hair cut and color done here. The color was overprocessed, leaving my hair with bronze, orange copper tones and my hair feels like straw. She knew she messed it up at the time, she tried to cover it with a different color, but it did not work. I look like a copperhead and they want to charge me more money to fix their error! First time at this location, and to start off the employees were pretty rude. I brought my brother along to get a hair cut my with me. I was supposed to be the first to go but my brother wanted to go first, so when I told the stylist if he can go first she sighed and gave attitude and took him. He said she was good and he liked his hair cut. Which came out pretty nice; but then it was my turn with a different stylist. I showed the stylist what I wanted and wanted an opinion; on what is better for me, she was rude when she asked for clarification, and told me why would I even show her a picture of a hair style I want if I already have it. Which was rude based on how she said it. When I was telling her I wanted volume added to my hair if possible. She ignored my request and just kept trying to figure out on how to cut my hair. And was just being complicated over all. she told me my hair wasn't healthy and it was all dead and that she recommended cutting off my dead ends. I showed where I wanted it cut and to just go a bit over to take off the color a bit. She told me she'll make my hair in layers and make it blend in to create the style aka the hair cut I ASKED AND WANTED FOR and once she was done; she wouldn't let me get the chance to talk/ or ask if I liked it. she left my hair wet and straight out rather then styling IT; like how other locations usually do. I asked her if she can atleast blow dry and style my bangs , she sighed and just put the blow dryer on top of them and ruffled them. I asked her for opinions and advice about my hair and what should do to heal it, especially since I have bangs and they get oily faster since I have oily skin but just wanted advice so I can try to make them not as oily. She told me can't do anything, she recommend a product / wasn't clear about it and told me it's cus of my skin.... And told me she doesn't know anything about womens hair since she' mainly works on male styling and cuts then told me have a good day. I cried in the car and I really am disappointed on how this looks; I already have bad confidence for myself and this hair cut made me look like something that I'm insecure about looking as. I don't remember her name but I'm gonna be contacting them about this situation and hope they can either refund or do something to fix my hair. Well- I took my son for a Back to School cut, he's 6. Looked at $27 cost and was like FINE, but that's not what I would like to pay. My son was finally excited to get a hair cut after months of refusing, hopped in the seat and we were looking at photos. His hair was pretty long and tangled from a hot sweaty day -- I turned to talk to my other child and when I turned back to the seat, the stylist (dare I call her that) had a comb and was RIPPING through my sons hair with no water, no mist, no spry or prep of any kind - I looked at his face in the mirror and he was crumbling and trying to hold back tears. I asked her to stop and he BURST into tears - it WAS AWFUL! We will NEVER be back, the thoughtlessness and carelessness for something so simple is beyond me. She then was rude, telling me she couldn't work on him if he was crying and refusing and I said don't worry we aren't staying and she proceeded to rush us out the door. Super sad, I remember liking super cuts but never again. My son said his scalp hurt and was literally talking about the pain all afternoon. HORRIBLE experience. HORRIBLE! read more

I am 58 years old and for years have been searching for a stylist that would give me a good PIXIE CUT and she literally gave me the best haircut I have EVER HAD!!!!! I really appreciated the time that she took, didn't make me feel rushed AT ALL, and she really paid attention to what I said I wanted. I love to give honest feedback. Gladys was the stylist that helped me. She was sweet and I appreciated her taking the color appt that was on MLK just this past week. I had a day off and decided to come in and get jet black hair. I usually do it myself but I wanted to avoid the mess. Again the service was good price was ok based off my experience. They charge $95 for just one color my hair is thin a little bit past my shoulders. Pros; nice and patient staff Cons: the black dye was all over my face. While working (my stylist) had some of my hair hit my cheek and I had a black line across my face. It was all over ears etc. I think why I got a little frustrated is she didn't notice maybe until a while so the black dye dried. She then proceded to clean it with a rag and I had a red rash for a while after a left. Also they don't usually dry the hair after the dye. No worries she offered to do it since it was raining and cold. However She took my back to her cutting chair and she had cut another customers hair. It was all over the chair and the floor and I felt weird walking over it. I felt as if maybe she was overwhelmed so I didn't say anything. At first I was very nervous to do high lights in general at Supercuts but I went for it and the results as said came out nice! The price was not bad at all either. The haircut itself isn't terrible, nor is it anything to write home about. As far as the customer service goes, the stylist was nice and friendly, but the hostess was bitter, pretentious, and had a massive superiority complex. I overheard that another customer was trying to get a cut/color but supposedly the other stylist was out. The hostess (the one with the hunched back and is in her 60s, Jessica) brushed off her concern and sarcastically said "mhm, bye bye" shortly and didn't seem as if she cared about her business. Additionally, my haircut was an online check in and the website said it would be a 30 minute wait. I checked in at 4:30, and arrived at 5. The hostess said my check in time was supposed to be 4:30. I explained how websites and the concept of time works, and she said "mhm, okay, but you were supposed to be here at 4:30." I went to this Supercuts as it was a bit closer to home. My hair, the end product I'm happy with. However, Erica who cut my hair was so rough the whole time, almost seeming like she was in a rush. She poked my eyes several times, my ears, and my neck to the point of being uncomfortable and saying ow to which she only recognized once at the very end. Also using the buzzer, she would scrape so hard my neck is red and almost feelings like it's burning. I'm willing to come back and try again, but not with her. The staff was very polite. However, the service was bad. I got a root touch up; wanting platinum blonde. My scalp is very sensitive, inflamed and blistered. They did not lift the color properly and did not tone. There is substantial breakage. My roots were a foul yellow color. I left thinking it was not bad only to get a better look at home to realize it was very poorly done. I paid over $100 for a cheap, box looking job and my scalp is incredibly painful. I called back to have it fixed but because they were understaffed, they were unable to help me until two days later. They seriously suggested I go out looking like this for two days. Sadly didn't leave with a haircut I was happy with. I asked for layers, a cut that was a little above my shoulder blades that she even showed where it would stop, and layers that started down at my chin. Ended up with a blunt straight cut about above my shoulders that has uneven ends. I wanted to ask for it to be fixed, but at that point so much of my hair was gone I was scared at how much shorter it would. The appointment from hell!!! I got there and noticed none of the women working had been taking great care of their own hair (dry, frizzy, dull, fading color). I should've left when I noticed that. I got a trim, went fine. Hair wash, great! Conditioning treatment, great. The styling???? OUCH. She got the round brush STUCK in my hair and was just ripping my hair off to get it out. My hair is down to my butt, folks. That's a ton of hair. She started at my root, and just kept yanking the brush down after she got it out. The blow dry and "curl" left my hair the frizziest it's been in years. Even I couldn't do that much damage. I drove the entire way home sobbing. When she showed me the finished look, I was in absolute shock; I redownloaded Yelp just to warn you. Do not go there. I had a few days left to wear my heart monitor, and I was getting tired of not being able to properly treat my hair, so I decided to splurge a bit. It would've cost $21 to get shampooing ($6) and conditioning ($15) separate, so I went for the $12 Tea Tree package. My hair is clean and soft now, but the experience was awkward and uncomfortable. I mean I'm a guy, but I'm nowhere near as rough with my hair as that lady was. For some reason, whenever she'd get to my neck hair, she'd kind of pull it. I usually tip, but I just couldn't this time. Also, the Tea Tree products had a pronounced cooling sensation that felt like toothpaste on my scalp, which didn't appeal to me. Supercuts got the job done, but I can't recommend the Tea Tree Experience. Maybe the $21 shampooing/conditioning combo would've been more pleasant? I just have no idea. read more

The girl who did my hair was extremely kind however I would not recommend a service here to anyone. I came in with extremely blonde hair and a grown out root . I wanted to get an all over color to match my root color and make my hair solid. Initially the receptionist asked the stylist if she was comfortable doing color which should have been my first red flag. When I got behind the chair she told me that she planned to put a filler color in the bleached part of my hair then my root color all over . She 'color corrected' my blonde which turned it pink. She then proceeded to paint over what she initially put in my hair and I asked her if it was a neutral tone because it seemed very yellow which did not match my hair. She assured me that it was. I let her finish the process and wash my hair out and my root was now orange with the rest of my hair being a brown/burgundy color. I was shocked and told her that I didn't think the color was what I asked for. She offered to color over it and neutralize it (like I asked for in the first place). Unfortunately the damage was already done and irreversible. I was upset but quite frankly didn't want her to touch my hair again. I went outside and noticed how severely mismatched it was all throughout my head . I went back in and showed the receptionist and stylist a photo of what I was seeing and they told me they didn't see it . At this point I was in tears and the receptionist asked if I wanted to come back another day and get it corrected by another stylist or get a refund . I was so upset and told her I didn't even know how the stylist could fix it given she had colored my hair so far from what I asked for. She refunded me and let me know she wouldn't be able to refund for color again due to her 'supervisor' s reminder that they 'don't do that on color services.'
