Their salads are also worth trying - the tofu salad had big portions of soft tofu and the Yasai Salad has everything needed to make it one amazing salad (corn, lettuce, Japanese mayo, tomato, bell peppers, cucumber slices, asparagus tips and so many other wonderful things that tie it all together). If you're in the mood for rice, get the Char Siu Bowl. This is a small bowl of rice with a generous portion of roasted pork fillet that is cooked with a sweet, barbecue-like sauce. Even with such a small bowl, I was really satisfied and loved every bite of the roast pork. If you want good value for money, add P100 to get an order of gyoza with chahan when you order any of their ramen. The fish used was good. And for some reason, the Shrimp tempura was greasy, not sure if they used sesame oil or not but it sure was greasy. They used the right batter at least and it was crunchy, but yah my fingers were greasy. The assorted yakitori was OK, but it's as if someone dipped, not basted them in tare after being grilled not during. But there were no grill marks on the skewers. Final thoughts, people at the other tables were even taking pics of their food, not knowing that it wouldn't pass to a Japanese person or someone who knows Japanese food. The chicken teriyaki dinner was served on a bed of fresh leafy greens with bomb teriyaki sauce drizzled on top that can activate salivation in an instant. The sushi rolls were compact with flavour and filling that is heavily squished between master hands and a wooden roller perfecting a trip coming to an end in my beautiful city. I forget which ones we ordered but we came near closing and the options were limited to what's available for the chef to make so we settled for what it is, but it never felt like settling. Service was also warm despite us bombarding into the server's wishful thinking in getting the restaurant cleaned and empty in time for clocking out.
