My son began attending Quick Stars Tutoring in 2023 before entering 6th grade for SSAT preparation,…read moreand Tracy has been a tremendous help from the very beginning. Scheduling sessions has always been easy, flexible, and consistent. They truly take the time to match students with the right tutor based on their individual needs, which reflects how professional and dedicated their team is. After taking about a year off, I noticed a slight decline in my son's study habits, which led us to enroll him again during his 8th grade year. Since returning, I have seen a tremendous improvement not only in his study habits, but also in his grades, confidence, and overall attitude toward learning. The support, structure, and encouragement provided by his tutors have made such a positive impact on his academic growth and motivation. His tutor this year, Theta, has especially helped build his confidence in math and strengthen his understanding of the material. As a result, he has received Honor Roll every quarter so far and felt much more confident taking the PSATs this year. I'm so grateful that we found Quick Stars Tutoring. Our son has genuinely enjoyed his experience and recognizes how much it has helped him academically over the years.

The owner, Tracy, was always great with communicating and being flexible when it came to my son's schedule. He also worked with tutors who helped to reinforce what he was learning in school as well as maintain basic math skills. All of this helped him feel more positive about math and ready to make the transition next school year. Although my son is not a client anymore, I will not hesitate to utilize Quick Stars in the future if the need arises.

CNA Solutions was recommended to me by a friend of the owner during my search for a CNA program…read morethat wouldn't take too long as I only had a little bit of time to spare to pursue this goal due to uncertainty of what the future held for me between July and October. The owners, Gary and his wife, Anna, both have amazing heart for healthcare and are both active in the field. Gary is very accommodating and works with you to figure out what the best course would be for you whether you take the accelerated day course which is 2.5 weeks or the night course which is 4 weeks. At first I was hesitant and many unexpected life changes happened that I couldn't attend in his original August cohort when I got the courage to pursue this goal. So I ended up in his September cohort. And I truly believe God himself wanted me to join the September cohort because even though I was afraid to go back and give it a try after not being available in August when I had planned to join, I finally went through with it and showed up on the first day of class and had the honor and pleasure of meeting and working with the most amazing people from all walks of life. You not only gain classmates, you gain friendships for life, and potential coworkers as you all pursue different goals for taking the class. We even made ourselves a YouTube page for our class so we can reference all our training videos we recorded in class so we can reference them when studying for the prometric exam. Whether you're in pre-nursing, opening your own care home, working at a facility already, or simply learning how to best help provide care for a loved one, I promise you will not leave this class empty handed or doubting your own ability. You will learn what it takes to do your job well, the right way, and have a newfound appreciation for everyone you encounter in this line of work. We made lifelong friendships and learned the amount of heart and compassion it takes to do this line of work. While some people may view it as "just entry level" work, you matter just like everyone else in the healthcare industry. I personally will be eternally grateful to Gary and Anna's CNA school for giving me a chance when I was too afraid thinking it's too late to give myself that chance. Gary is a genuinely caring soul and wants to see everyone succeed. He even opens his doors to allow you to train for the prometric exam before your exam date so you can take your skills test with absolute confidence and pass on the first try. He takes care of his facility on his own as well so be respectful of his property and clean up after yourselves lol. He does all his own linen/towel washing too so be mindful when using his supplies. Gary and Anna, thank you so much for opening your doors and hearts to teach us how to be successful CNAs. I am grateful for the opportunity to have learned from you and helping me see other doors opening to many possibilities for the future, no matter what they may be. You helped open a path for me that had been blocked for years until now. Mahalo nui loa, Christina

I'm so thankful for that, because if a close friend hadn't told me about this team and had both of her daughters enrolled, we probably never would have thought to join. What first attracted me to the team was the bright light, huge smile, and genuine heart of the wonderful coach and owner of 808 Cheer, Coach Britt. My daughter was only 7 years old when we started, back when practices were held at the Kapolei High School outdoor pavilion. I'll never forget Coach Britt always saying that one day she would have her own gym, in God's time. For the moment, she would say, "This is what we have, and we'll make the most of it." as the girls rolled up and put away mats. We stuck with her and the team through COVID, and when we came back, the growth for so many of our girls was incredible. Fast forward to today, we're now practicing in an amazing facility in Waipahu, and that gym she once talked about and prayed for has truly come to life. What I appreciate most is that tuition is very affordable, uniforms are reasonably and competitively priced, and there are no strange fundraising requirements or pressure to purchase extra things. Everything feels honest, family-oriented, and focused on the kids. 808 Cheer has truly been a blessing for our family, and we're grateful to be part of the journey.

You're not just joining a team: you're becoming part of something special, something supportive and something unforgettable. Their passion is contagious, their dedication is unmatched, and the love they show shines through in every practice, every performance and every little high five. This is not for the waipahu campus but for the Ewa Beach (Elementary campus)…read more It's our son's first year with HTA as a kindergartner and we are at the end of the year so we definitely experience the whole school year with HTA. I want to start off with how happy we are that our son attends HTA. It was a great choice and big win. We have older children who go to multiple schools and HTA by far has won us over. The atmosphere and the attention that our son received in school is by far the greatest. The one on one with the student and teacher ratio works out great our kindergartener has excelled in so many ways. He's about to move on to first grade and he already can read books and tell time not only digital time but the wall clock which I remember only learning in the 3rd grade back in the day. He is also able to identify the currency (worth of each coin and what each coin is called) We do noticed a BIG difference in our son's confidence level and not being afraid to speak up and present his animal research to his fellow classmates. The teachers and staff are all so supportive and they are always so kind. They know every child just about by name which is great because they can identify each child's presence which is valuable and also for safety reasons. They also address any concerns or issues right away with the child and parents/ guardians. HTA has great staff who is able to provide support to the children and parents/ guardians. We are thankful that we are able to join our son on his class Field Studies. It is a true blessing to be able to have this experience to be able to understand what our child is learning on a daily basis. They have weekly agendas which keeps us organized and on schedule. We hope you enjoyed our first year experience review with HTA. Having a kind and supportive team makes a GREAT difference! So be nice to the staff members they deserve the Best!!

My nefew was bullied for his lunch and couldn't eat that day, the next day or two the same kid who is much bigger than him pushed him down and when mom called the school they just flagged her off. He was staying home for a couple of days out of fear and when I grew up this type of topic was handled in a timely fashion and not go on until something else worse happens. I thought schools here was better at handling this type of situation which is a very serious topic.
