The oceanfront setting is beautiful, and the entire event is well organized. We enjoyed the pre-show cultural activities, a delicious buffet with a good variety of Hawaiian dishes, and excellent service from the staff. I highly recommend Sea Life Luau to couples, families, and anyone visiting Oahu. It was a memorable evening and definitely worth adding to your Hawaii itinerary! We have done the Polynesian Cultural Center's luau, but this one is much more intimate. Before dinner & the show, the performers are out amongst the crowd leading out in a variety of activities. My girls had a blast making leis, getting tattoos, using the poi balls, and "fishing". During this time, the musicians are playing really relaxing music. You can sit at the table and enjoy the view or participate in a wide variety of cultural activities. My daughter loved the hula lesson! Next comes dinner- all you can eat buffet style. I was really impressed by the quality of the food. There was even a vegan option. The show is killer. There is a champion fire dancer at the end that was incredible! The dancers, the musicians, the emcee, all made for a really great show. If you are looking for a great luau- this is the one. There is something for the whole family. The entire staff was kind and attentive. I would definitely attend this one again!

I'm a business owner and to me customer service matters more than anything, even when the experience isn't perfect. Kono's stepped up. I would share a photo but it's currently passing through my digestive system and not feeling very photogenic at the moment. Ignore that silly disgusting mess attached to my original review, but I will leave the photos up because I think they are instructive for management. Mission Accomplished Kono's Kailua! We were worried about the long wait so checked out the website and put in a phone order. We ordered the yummy Pork Malunggay noodles and Ube with Shrimp and Garlic sauce! The pasta noodle texture is seriously on point! I would make the trip over and over again. Sooo good! Millie is the sweetest! She took our phone order and helped us from arrival to departure. I mean a REALLY special breakfast!   I've…read moregot the perfect choice - CINNAMON'S Restaurant in Kailua!   I've heard people say it was good but never had a chance to go.   I'm so glad I went!   Let me share..... The parking lot is pretty big so you have a pretty good chance of finding parking.  The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating.   My friends and I chose the outdoor seating and we were glad we did.  With the covered, large patio area, you get the cool breeze and fresh air.   Just sitting outside you feel comfortable to relaxed!   Note:   You will get occasional birds that come by....but we didn't find it to be problem at all. We decided that we were gong to each order a different thing and share.   We ordered the following: CHORIZO SHRIMP OMELETTE - If you love a bit of spice like me, you'll love this.   I remember having Mexican chorizo in California and this has the same taste.   The omelet is packed with flavor and it's HUGE!   We ordered it with the fried potatoes.   I honestly could've just eaten this omelette, it was that good!! FRENCH TOAST -- ya gotta get that little bit of sweetness to enjoy with your coffee!    They serve sweet bread french toast.   It's very similar to others that I've had at other places.  Not unique but it was good. CORNED BEEF HASH WITH EGGS - This was a special request from one of my friends.  Homemade corned beef hash -- you can't go wrong.   I think the other winner on this plate was those crunchy....super crunchy tater tots.  OMG, they were so good!!   I think the next time I will order this with an over-easy egg so I can dip those tots in my yolk ---- you'all know the goodness in that, right?!!! I definitely recommend!    The prices are pretty reasonable and the portion sizes are big.   I totally recommend everyone ordering a dish and do family style so you can sample a taste of everything!

I also would say that the price for food is a little pricier for my liking for the taste. The food isn't exotic, but it did taste good and their bread and guava butter were my favorite part of my restaurant experience! If it wasn't for the service, I would've given the restaurant a 3/5. Despite the long line/wait, the staff was actually really interactive and proactive with the parties they were serving, which we really appreciated! I didn't feel like we were waited long to get our food, eat, and get our check at the end, which was so perfect. It was a great first time at Haleiwa Joe's, but I'm not sure if it'll be a repeat for me! If you're in and want an amazing view for dinner though, this is great!

I've been here many many many times and it's finally time I let you in on this secret gem. It's a very small hole in the wall Mom n' Pop shop. There's some seating inside too if you need to rest from being outside in the sun all day. It's definitely no frills, but I'm not gonna dock any points because the main thing is the food. ABSOLUTE BANGER prices. I got the bbq cheeseburger and it was a dream. Very savory and the best part is you don't have to wait around in line for a food truck event to come up just to get your burger fix. I have NO idea what they put in this burger but it's brok da mout. It's SO cheap too. For their plates, they have mini and regular options...which is perfect when you're not ready to commit to a whole plate. The food is made fast and it tastes consistent every single time. They got their system down to a T. I got the BBQ Chicken mini and honestly, this is fully enough to fill you up. They're generous with the chicken, rice and mac. They really remind me of my family when it comes to portioning food...eat eat eat up and grow big. That is a VIBE. At this point I realized that I ate all of the food already and couldn't even show you the good stuff I got. HOWEVER, it's a huge recommend if you're in the area and coming back from the beach. It HITS. For those of you that love logistics planning before you make up your mind, here's a quick rundown: - Free Parking - Restrooms Available - Phone Orders (recommended) - They take card + cash (cash tips only) - Breakfast menu as well - Good, fair prices I hope you'll give them a chance :) ALOHA!
