I want to be fair and acknowledge that I am pleased with my surgical results, and I believe Dr. Brau is a skilled surgeon. However, the overall patient experience fell far below my expectations. My concerns were: * **Consultation process:** The office requires a non-refundable $100 consultation fee. Since I already had implants, I was told there was no way to accurately "try on" sizes and no 3D imaging was available. I was told the "sky was the limit" for size and that implant size would not affect the price. * **Implant size communication:** My existing implants were 400cc, and I requested 800cc. Dr. Brau said 800cc would work but explained he would not know the exact size until surgery. I left with the understanding it would likely be close to 800cc. After surgery, while in recovery, I was told my implants were actually 695cc -- a significant difference from what we had discussed. * **Unexpected pricing changes:** I was initially quoted around $7,000, then the quote increased to around $9,000 when discussing 800cc implants. I was told the increase was due to additional surgical time, despite previously being told implant size would not change the cost. * **Payment issues:** We were told the procedure could be covered through CareCredit. Immediately after surgery, while I was still in recovery, we learned the anesthesiologist did not accept CareCredit, leaving us unexpectedly responsible for an additional $700 charge on a credit card. * **Administrative issues:** The office lost my signed consent paperwork, and I had to scan and resend my own copy because they could not locate it. * **Day of surgery:** I was instructed to arrive at 6:00 a.m. for a 7:00 a.m. surgery, only to find out at check-in that my surgery had been moved to 9:00 a.m. I waited for hours after being prepped. Staff also had difficulty locating Dr. Brau before surgery, and I had to point out that he had not marked me before they took me back. * **Post-op allergic reaction:** I had what Dr. Brau described as the worst surgical glue reaction he had seen, with severe itching, hives, redness, and blistering. Although he removed some glue during follow-up visits, I later discovered there was still a significant amount remaining and had to remove it myself. * **Privacy concerns:** My rash and medical information were discussed in the waiting room where other patients could overhear. * **Unprofessional comments:** During my first post-op visit, comments were made by Dr. Brau and his assistant regarding my breasts and my husband's involvement with massages that I found inappropriate for a medical setting. * **Cleanliness concern:** At my one-month follow-up, I found someone else's blood on the exam chair and on my leg after sitting down. The staff apologized, but this was extremely concerning. I believe surgical skill is only one part of patient care. While I am happy with the cosmetic result, the communication issues, unexpected costs, lack of privacy, administrative problems, and concerns during my recovery made this an experience I would not choose to repeat.

I arrived at 12:25 and upon entering the spa I did not see any associates and continued to wait. I called out to someone and never received a response. At 12:36 I retrieved my phone to call the telephone number and finally the mgr appeared from the back. I told her I had an appt and she said there was not a scheduled appt and none was available for the day and spoke to me like I was mistaken until I showed her the messages and asked who was Selena. She then tells me Selena was the scheduling dept. I continued to inquire how this could have happened for me to schedule an appt with your scheduling department with no availability is insane. This experience was a total waste of my time and money and seems to be a scam. This place is not accountable and caused incredible frustration which should be completely unacceptable for any business. Left with no services and hope for my deposit refund which is still not showing. If not received soon I will dispute this charge. This practice is a joke. They have a very poorly set up appointment system, very rude to people on…read morethe phone and overall useless assisting their patients. My fiancé had a work related injury that he was seen here for and later when he had issues with his work essentially wanting to refuse him the time off the doctor said he needed (on paper) due to his PPE being the issue for his injury and it needing time to heal, he was given the run around for two days in a row. His work tried to assist in filing his claim and was told they don't deal with workmans comp claims and hung up on. Extremely rude staff. My fiancé finally was able to get ahold of the doctor and who then stated in a hurried tone that he wouldn't say it happened at work even though he knew it did as that's why we came there and then refused to list the info on paper. The end of the conversation went like this: Him- "So you're telling me that if I chop my finger off at work, and I come to you to be treated, you're going to tell me that this injury didn't happen at work?" Doctor- "Yes" Him- "So if this injury didn't happen at work where did it happen at?" Doctor- "I can't say" Are you kidding? Is this a medical secret or something? And you went to school how many years?! This doctor is so unethical it's not even funny. Backpedaling to avoid whatever issues he may have to face because he saw someone who was injured and it was work related but apparently they "don't do workman's comp" so he leaves his patient having to scramble to find a new doctor for a follow up? He accepted our money, insurance, and treated him though. Horrible. I personally never liked him anyways but this was the nail in the coffin.
