If your looking for that Boardwalk Arcade feel look no further. Half Moon has it. Such a charming old school arcade vibe. I love how the strip lines the breathtaking views of Lake Winni and the giant open doors allow you to see the many adults as well as children basking in the arcade glory. With plenty of old and new games and tons of options for prizes that actually make sense. A stop to Weirs Beach NH would not be the same without a stop at the arcade.

Walking in feels like accidentally time-traveling into a casino that lost a fight with an arcade…read more Low ceilings? Check. Old carpeting? Absolutely. Dim lighting? You bet--literally. I don't know how to describe it except to say: it's a casino. Plot twist: it's not two levels. It's three. Like a casino lasagna. Every floor is more machines, more blinking lights, and more moments of "wait... where am I?" Yes, you use coins--as it should be. None of this "unlimited play" nonsense. You put in $20, get a pile of coins, and suddenly every game feels meaningful. Even the 80s games cost coins, which honestly just adds to the thrill. Did I expect nostalgia to be free? No. And I respect that. Prize strategy tip: if you want to win big, slot machines are your friends. This place knows what it's doing. Skill, luck, commitment. A journey. We came searching for a game called something like Dragon King? King Dragon? Royal Lizard? Not sure. We never found it. The casino consumed us first. Bonus points: there's free pizza during breaks, which I only discovered because I accidentally started applying for a job there. Competitive wages, paid breaks, flexible schedules. Suddenly the casino is offering real benefits. Final verdict: chaotic, nostalgic, coin-fueled joy. Five stars. No notes. Would I go back? Yes. I think the casino chose me.

Super easy to get tokens too ($20 gets you 110, which lasts a while since old-school games are just 1 token and newer ones run 2-4). I had a great time on Burgertime and pinball--though I wish they had the Addams Family, Millionaire was still a fun one. Beyond the arcade, they've got indoor mini golf, bowling, and even a tavern, so there's something for everyone, kids and adults alike. This place is fantastic and I'll definitely be back. Pro tip: make sure to head across the street to 603 Sweets after--perfect way to end the day.

This arcade is straight up like stepping back in time. They have the neatest fortune teller (you know like the type in the movie Big, but a Grandma version. According to the staff, its the oldest of its type of machine that's been kept working. Eerily accurate fortune cards, too(!) The games are old, new & everything in between. I actually loved the vibe here, and am surprised at the previous negatives. Super cute little sleepy-town arcade (that's much bigger than it looks from the outside). Check it out if you are in the area, especially if you have kids.

I approached the back desk and told the gentleman (let's call him "Dick"as he fits the description) that the machine was out of tickets as it wasn't dispersing any. He got off his seat, like it was an inconvenience, walked around the machine and said looks like they have tickets! Big tough guy, acting like a child in front of a 12 year old! Lots of blacklight oversize pirate-ghost-zombie pics on the walls was cool. But the course layout was almost uniformly 2D, just flat strips of land with little bumpers in them. Like, you know in other mini golf when you hit the ball through a tunnel, past a spinning windmill, into a secret passage, etc., etc...? Yeah, they don't have that. The holes don't have any real special challenges. Like the same hole 18 times in a row, with cool decorations.

Service was a 10/10 and definitely worth going for if only to support the terrific staff. The decor of this course is fantastic--changing colored lights, pirate and ocean-themed obstacles, and decorative wall art make this blacklight golf very aesthetically pleasing. On top of that, the staff keeps things well-maintained and very clean. And the extra glow stickers on the putters were a fun touch I haven't ever seen at a blacklight mini golf course before. The course itself was decent--a lot of the hole designs felt very similar, but I understand that indoor courses are constrained to limited space, so you're trying to squish things together, and a lack of elevation and outdoor elements. I'd give the course 5/5 stars for decorations and 3/5 stars for course layout.

I had heard there were gorges & caves to explore different from other trails nearby along with beautiful pines and waterfalls. It exceeded all my expectations! It says this is a 1 mile loop hike but be prepared- I walk a 5k daily & this trail kicked my butt in a good way. It was moderately challenging- I went in the rain so it was a bit cooler too. The best advice I could offer is to take a backpack with snacks, another jacket just in case (although i layered up), pack rain pants to help keep me warm in the rain, and shoes with good traction. And plenty of water. Beanies may also be a good option to keep your head warm from the cold. And a portable battery. Also, if you haven't traveled with a car like me..then the Shuttle Connection is a life saver to travel in town. Way cheaper than Uber and fairly quick to transport you wherever you want to go. Also for travelers go back and forth to other states travel by bus is the perfect and most affordable way to travel. This trail offered amazing views, great photo ops, and plenty of additional trails to explore. They also make sure to keep everything maintained and safe for hikers exploring. Everything is well labeled and easy to follow. They do say and I can attest- travelers who have difficulty walking or have walkers etc..this may not be an ideal trail. Also, for younger children this may not be an kdela hike because of how extensive the elevation is. You are climbing a mountain and waterfall elevation. Make sure to look up details on their trail before you plan a trip. But well worth the hike :)
