Sarah McLachlan brought us to the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, and I'm glad she did. She sounded every bit as good as she did 20 years ago, and the venue turned out to be just as enjoyable as the concert itself. This was our first visit, and it's easy to see why so many artists include it on their summer tour schedules. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee area is beautiful, and the venue itself is modern and well laid out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were under the pavilion roof in reserved seating, but there's lawn seating available too if you're looking for a less expensive option.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sound quality was excellent, and despite the crowd, getting in, finding our seats, and enjoying the evening was all surprisingly easy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Concessions are what you'd expect at a concert venue--plenty of choices, but at concert prices. That's hardly unique these days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What stood out more was how well the Pavilion itself is laid out. It manages to feel intimate enough to connect with the performers while still being large enough to attract major touring acts.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As someone with knee issues, I especially appreciated the golf-cart shuttles to and from the remote parking areas. If you're thinking about seeing a show here, I'd encourage it. Sarah McLachlan was amazing, but the venue deserves some of the credit for making it such an enjoyable evening. I've seen 4 shows here so far and the venue has been great every single time! It's set up like an amphitheater, with 2 covered tiers of seats and a large lawn. I like that there's a good slope, especially on the lawn, so that short people like me can see pretty easily. I can't speak to the food or drink quality since I've never gotten any here, but I will say that there is a nice setup of local places outside the stage area. I've heard the food prices are reasonable, and if you want to enjoy some live music while waiting for your show, there's a smaller stage out there that usually hosts a band prior to the show. read more

The staff is friendly, and the parking area isn't too much of a walk from the venue. This was my first time to the Bank, New Hampshire Pavilion to see a concert. Walking into the event felt like a theme park. Lots of pavement. It is very hilly with steep inclines. Once you are seated in the lawn section, there's also an incline. Bathrooms are located in one spot and if you want anything else, you have to go down the steep section. Not a fan! read more

Have gone here for 2 shows and will be back in September for a 3rd. Prices are average, walk to the parking lot isn't too bad, lines moved quick at security. Beer vendors right in the lawn so you don't have to miss much for a refill. You do have to take a trek down a steep hill to get to a food vendor unfortunately though. The decent size lawn isn't beat up like most venue lawns either, there's actually grass still. All in all we had a great experience. read more

Better than standard concession offerings and closer to restaurant quality. We loved the pretzel! I loved my non-alcohol beverage. YUM Great views of the stage. Private restrooms make the VIP lounge worth the extra ticket price. Great VIP parking. Definitely pack some mosquito repellent and patience, as the lines at the merchandise booth can get long. This time, like every time, I need to reset ticketmaster password, which entails uninstalling whatever random browser their app demands I use, reinstalling their app, 5+ attempts at reset where they reject passwords that meet their requirements, a website that does not work to send feedback as stated, no working phone help, and collusion with google to enable google spyware. The absolute BEST outdoor venue to see a summer concert. Nothing comes close. Sure, drink and food are expensive, but that's to be expected. They only have so many operating days in the season. We had an amazing time! Such an easy walk from the parking/tailgating area to the venue! We stopped to get some fries and fried dough which very much resembled beniets so this. The staff was so friendly at the food and spirit stands. The grounds crew were very helpful and asked if it was our first time and yes it was he explained how it works . Really organized venue! Went here to see James Taylor & his All-Star band. My first time to this venue and I was very impressed. The design is very similar to other outdoor venues of it's type that are owned and operated by Live Nation. This one is unique in that it's located in a very rural and remote area in Central New Hampshire. There are many more food and drink vendors as well and everything seems to be laid out more compactly and everything is easily accessible. The sight lines were excellent and there are more options for premium seating closer to the stage. Of course JT & Band put on an excellent show. He mention several times how he was happy to be back in NH and see Lake Winnipesaukee. We had the premium parking option which made it much easier to exit after the show. read more

Drove to New Hampshire just to see Hozier. I loved how the venue was surrounded by trees. Just as Hozier said, I really felt like I was breathing a different type of air out there. Outdoor venues are always my favorites (when it's good weather) I gave it 4 stars because the drinks are crazyyy expensive (which I think is the case in a lot of venues) and there was a long wait to let people into the lawn? Went to Neil Young concert Aug 21 at Bank of NH Pavillion. He was great! The venue is terrible however. Drink pricing is simply criminal how high they are. Paid $30 for one vodka drink. You are forced to rent chairs if up on the hill because if you don't you wouldn't see a thing sitting on the ground $20 each. Parking pricing exorbitant as well $35 for general parking. Leaving after show a cluster as well. I will never go to another show at this place! read more

Prices for alcoholic beverages change from bar to bar within the venue and from show to show. $27 for a mixed drink is ridiculously expensive. If they're concerned with over serving, cap the number of drinks per person by putting a drink limiting bracelet on patrons. It was so annoying to have the alcohol servers shouting at us to get our beer and wine from them. Like, are they prepaying the liquor and need us to buy it for them to make their money back? Pressuring people to buy is annoying and irresponsible. The bag policy is fine but the stuff sack a blanket comes in shouldn't be considered a bag especially if someone is willing to take the blanket out to show no contraband is coming in. You can't bring a chair in, but you sure can rent them at the bargain price of $12 a piece. You know why you can't bring a chair? Because it's a "safety issue." How is a rented chair not a safety issue? It's not. The real reason is it doesn't make them any money. The lawn needs to be reseeded. Badly. Another way to get you to spend $12 on a chair. Food offerings are terrible. The chicken finger place never has a line because the food is mid. The burger place was so gross. The fries were over salted. The burgers had zero flavor and the beef was the strangest color, definitely didn't look grilled. There were slivered onions on a fraction of the burger, only two pickles for a whole double cheeseburger. No tomatoes, no lettuce. What kind of burger is this? McDonald's? Actually McDonald's gives a pretty decent amount of toppings. People were clearly tailgating with alcoholic beverages not being hidden. Cops were nearby and did nothing. The venue doesn't allow this, but the police do. Leaving was a nightmare. No lighting getting to the parking areas. The flaggers were standing around chatting because they had no work to do because the place is a gridlock for at least 30 mins after each show. We got there at 6pm and parked in Lot 2. It took us 45 minutes to get out. I could've walked home in that time and probably would've if I wouldn't be in the dark the whole way. This venue, like so many others, is getting our bodies in the door and making money hand over fist for parking on paid off land, charging vendors a ton of money to serve food and drink, and then allowing them to charge patrons a ton of money for said food and drink (partially so vendors can recoup what they spent to be there to serve us), and the artists - who are actually the ones drawing the crowd - don't see a red cent of that profit. The industry is broken. This venue sucks for caving to industry greed. read more

The amount of smoking in the covered venue made us leave about 15 minutes into the main act. We sat in chars and listed to the show for a bit, but all the smoking from the people walking around forced us out way too early. We were not alone. We have never seen so many people walk out of a venue due to smoking, both tobacco and weed, than here. Giving it another shot this year and we will see. We are happy they let us bring the reusable water bottles as the price for drinks is a joke. read more

I took my mom and aunt to see rod stewart last night...I have to say the people running that place are amazing...my mom recently had a hip replacement, and still has trouble walking long distances...having never been there before, I had no idea of the layout and didn't know she would have to walk about a quarter mile.....these people were so nice to my mom and aunt. If I could give we them 1000 stars...I would!!.. when the show ended they brought her a wheelchair after seeing her difficulties getting in....they brought her all the way back to my truck in the golf cart. I have been to many concerts at this venue, great time except the drinks are ridiculously overpriced. We bought camping passes to stay overnight, started off great except the crammed up into one corner despite only 1/4 of the lot being full. To make matters worse we were right underneath the lights which they left on ALL NIGHT. Turn off the lights at least! read more

I've been to see two major bands there this summer. It is great setup in a beautiful location and could be my favorite venue except that it is completely let down by two things: 1) [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sound quality is absolutely horrible. I'm a gigging musician so I have a critical ear but it is so bad a child would notice. it sounds like at least one cabinet in the stack is blown as there is a buzziness around mid frequencies; but the worst is the bass which is consistently muddy and boomy, making it completely impossible to make out the bass lines[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It sounds better on the lawn but in the main seating (I've sat in 1c and 3c), it's awful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2) the pricing model: seats might seem reasonable but when you add the cost of any ancillary stuff - like a $20-23 beer, you'll quickly spend way more than the ticket price - and I assume that the artists don't even see a cut of all the additional dollars. Well I have seen it all, women with a clear view purse that was about an inch bigger than allowed was turned away to go back to the car. 9/11 is over, you could see everything in this bag and yet you think 1 inch makes any difference. The term "just following orders" comes to mind. Yet I've seen people black out and be treated better. This place has so many great things about it, but some real awful things as well. The fact that they have caught up to the masses on price points for booze is disheartining at best. They are also currently part of the platinum pricing that ticketbastard has and with a venu as small as this they should be ashamed of themselves. It's too bad too, they lucked out with a start up / warm up for the long awaited return of the Foo Fighters, but other than that they get the bands they deserve. I contacted a representative, explained the situation, she directed me to e-mail the box office. It's now two weeks later. Still haven't heard back. Apparently this venue doesn't care enough to return an e-mail. Incredibly over-priced food and drinks, $20 to park and we still had to wait 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot, and they also throw out people's prescription medications, and won't even respond when confronted to a legitimate complaint about it. Only been here one time. We were lucky enough to be invited to share in VIP tickets to see Alice Cooper. VIP includes parking near the entrance and access to a bar area only for those with VIP access. Really an amazing experience. First, we enter at the VIP entrance. Bags are checked, (for which I am happy) and you walk in to an area thar looks like a small village of shops and restaurants. Our relatives tell us in the winter, when the concert venue is closed, they have attended parties at one of tje restaurants! The VIP bar area has a couple of food item, a full bar, high tops and picnic tables with umbrellas, just to the side of the stage, with monitors relaying the show! Also there is a very nice walkway to the restrooms which include an attendant keeping things tidy. The smoking area is just a little further along. Can't say how your show will be, but we had a wonderful time in a very interesting, outdoor venue. read more

We attended the Sugarland show last night, our "seats" were in the pit, it was pretty awesome until the show started, we've had tickets in pits at many other venues in various states, for an array of different shows, it's always fun, safe and with plenty of security around. Last night, for the last half of Frankie Ballard and the entire Sugarland set, it was not safe, there were fights, screaming, swearing, pushing and I even got hit in the back of the head by the trashy drunk woman in her 50s that was behind me because she got mad that I got a guitar pick that was thrown into the audience and she didn't. I saw one compliance officer walking around before the show even started, checking for wrist bands of people drinking, but once the music started, there was no security presence at all. There needs to be a better system if you're going to offer a pit, people should feel safe and be able to enjoy what they paid for. The amount of belligerent drunks I saw was outrageous, clearly the pavilion has a serve until you're wasted policy. I really want to like this venue, it's close to home, ticket prices are decent enough and they have some pretty good artists, but I'm 100% sure I won't ever buy pit tickets there again until they get their act together. read more

Racism is alive and well AND accepted by management at Bank of NH Pavilion. My family attended a Goo Goo Dolls concert last month, while there, my son and fiancé (who is black), was taking my son (who is white) to get popcorn. My son ran a few feet ahead and slipped into the White Claw area unchecked. They immediately stopped my fiancé, and wouldn't allow him to get my child (9 year old). They left him standing there yelling for my child who had no idea what had happened. While I was upset about this, at first I didn't see it as racism, until about a half hour or so later. When two security guys that had watched this happen walked directly up to us sitting on the hill, stating "THERE HE IS! THE BIG BLACK GUY..." [one put his hand on my finance's shoulder] and continued, quite amused with themselves "with the bald head". They then stood over and just behind us, questioned if my child (who was wrapped in a blanket clearly asleep) was sleeping. Confused, I asked if I could help them, they looked at each other, smugly and amused and said "No". They then stood there for another minute before walking off. I reported it that night, I was told by the lawn area managers to make an official complaint. I did so the following day. It was a full day before I was contacted regarding this issue. In response, I was given a canned apology response with an offer for my family to attend "a show this season" and then I was ignored. I reached out to ticketmaster, filed a complaint online, and was answered a full day later, then ignored for another 2 days. I was then told the "experience manager should reach out to me". Well, that was the very same guy, and he didn't even bother to respond after telling me that my request to know that the employees had been fired, or disciplined, and if additional racial training should take place was unreasonable as they don't give their employee information out. As if I care who they are? I want to know it was addressed - I think we all know this answer now. It's not about the employees, its about their comfortability they had with these blatant acts of racism. But, now we know why - legitimately no one cares. Not even the manager in charge of "experiences". If your family is not full of white people, you best avoid this venue. Racism is alive, well and accepted here. Absolutely disgusted. I'm blown away at the lack of concern or care for paying customers and how they are treated by their staff. read more

By far one of my favorite venues....We drove 7 hours to see a show. We had reserved lawn seats. I've never been to a venue that had this option and it was awesome. They provide a lawn chair for you as well. Your staff is so nice and helpful. There is a lot of bathrooms and they're super clean. The line to get in the venue was organized and quick. (Even with checking Covid-19 vaccine cards!) They had a local band playing before and after the main band on a small stage by the food and cocktails. The parking was so easy too. I saw 7 people get arrested at one show, all separately, for non-violent things. And that's just the ones I saw at one show... Seems like they're in cahoots and also the sole source of revenue for the local NH police. They will look for trouble for no reason. Some event worker interrupted our conversation and asked to see my GF's bracelet because of the drink she was holding, as we were literally just walking and talking doing nothing bad at all. She's 23, sure he couldn't tell, but not sure why they'd go out of there way to catch people if there's no harm being done to anyone... Also they also only have 2 places to go to the restroom, but the line goes very quickly because they have people to rush you through, so thats nice. Lady's take forever to make drinks, so those lines are way longer. Atmosphere was good aside from constantly watching cops destroy the life of anyone they can for committing non-violent, victimless crimes read more

Just saw our first show at the Pavillion and overall it was amazing. Tons of staff throughout the property to help. Parking was a breeze and I've not seen a better run operation to get you out on the road quickly at the end of the night. We added the Coors Light upgrade - cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen. Great menu, comfortable space close to the stage. Staff was terrific. The only downside - tin roof in the Coors Light section. You cannot make out anything audible when standing under the roof. The reverb was deafening (feel bad for the bartenders that have to hear it all night). Why they would use tin for a venue like this is beyond me. Hope they make changes before next season. We saw Bryan Adams last night and it was a great experience. The venue had very good acoustics (I assume BA's sound techs were good as well), but I could actually hear the lyrics even with everyone singing them and they were clear and his voice was distinguishable. Our seats were in the handicapped seats towards the beginning of the back third of the pavilion and they were great views. The experience was made more enjoyable by the staff. Their incredibly positive attitudes are noteworthy! Everyone from the parking lot to the entry to seating were overly positive and happy and helpful! The food is expensive (as expected) $14 for chicken tenders (that were actually decent) and fries, $5 for a bottle of soda. It was good that we were allowed to each bring in a bottle of water. They did a good job of alerting us in advance that the venue is bag-free (with the exception of clear bags and clutches). Parking is $10. Easy to park. Easy out. read more

Hands down, this is one of the best places to see a concert. My only venue complaint is that drainage is awful when it rains the least bit. The VIP area is well worth the cost so you have access to quick drinks, food and no lines at the bathroom. However, they recently did construction and the floor becomes a skating rink when it's wet and you have to walk through a pool to get into the VIP lounge if it's raining (like Thursday night for Chris Stapleton). Some things to keep in mind: The nearest hotels are a drive and you can't depend on UBER. Many area hotels are a 2 night minimum. The camping is unique - it's basically a grass parking lot with XL spaces and you park and tent within arms reach of strangers. Ladies, bring extra TP because the camping bathrooms run out by the morning. If possible, buy two camping spots for 1 car so you aren't on top of your neighbors and so you can use a tent larger than 10x10. No fires allowed so bring lots of bug spray. They don't police for noise so you may luck out and have a quiet night sleep or you may hear two men debating the strength of a brown bears vs emu's until 4am. We've never camped in the woods, only in the parking lot. If you can rent an RV and get an RV spot, do it, it looks like the best option. Seats: all of the covered seats are good, the table service seats are great too. I'm in my 40's so I wouldn't do lawn or the pit. We were near the pit once and it's too crowded, not good for short people and when you leave to get a drink, the over crowded pit-standers wouldn't let people reconnect with their friends. It looked downright awful. The acoustics there are great and there's not many obstructions. They also have a decent amount of screens. Women & purses!!! Don't bring anything in larger than a small wristlet!! They are very strict about their bag policy!!!! My wristlet holds 1 cell phone, my license & debit card, a car key (1 not all of them) and some cash and that's it. My cross strap body purse has been turned down before. Have fun! I dont know if this is a regular occurrence at every show, but I am beyond disgusted. First off, I traveled over 3 hours with my daughter, niece, and brother and picked up my mother in another town in NH. My brother and I went to see Luke Bryan, who is my favorite country singer. These tickets were a birthday present and I have been waiting for this since January. I loved the layout of the venue, nice set up. The parking lot workers were idiots. Packing cars in like sardines in a tailgate lot completely defeats the purpose. Once the doors opened, we had pit passes and was pretty much up front. Saw the first 2 acts. Just before Luke came on, my brother went to go grab me a couple of waters and him a drink so he didn't have to go back out. One of the girls we were standing and hanging with was extremely thirsty, so he offered her my other water. Not even a minute later, security came bum rushing in and told my brother to follow them. I had no clue what the hell just happened. We had made friends with everyone around us and were having a great time. He gets along with everyone. I panicked, I had a good buzz and had no clue what was going on. He also had my car key. At this point, Luke had come out on stage, and I had been completely oblivious to the show given what just happened. I was hysterical but afraid to leave and didn't want to lose my spot either. Come to find out, some random person told security he was handing out drinks to girls and looked suspicious. Lmao, seriously. This is 36 year old guy with 3 kids who came with his sister. He pleaded with them and asked that they at least hear him out and go talk to the crowd. They treated him like a criminal creeping on young prey. We paid good money and he had every right to be in the pit. He didnt even argue with them but was told he couldnt go back there and had to wait up top. This is completely unacceptable. The show in my eyes was ruined, literally missed the first 3 songs and it took away from the experience as a whole. I saw them come down a few times busting other guys balls that werent doing anything. But its ok for me to get pushed by guys and slap my hat off my head because I had to pee and had been standing there since 5 pm. Thats cool though right, literally getting assaulted for trying to get back to my spot by grown men, mind you. Now, if I had hit them back, I would've been kicked out right. I think these fake cop tough guys need to cool it down a bit and take chill pill. I understand they have a job to do but if they actually talked to him and not blew him off and told him to shut the f*** up otherwise hes getting kicked out, they wouldve realized he was innocent. I did my best to enjoy the show, but my head wasnt in it. Thanks for ruining what could have been an amazing night. If this is normal behavior for your workers I feel sorry for people who spend a lot of money expecting to get a great experience. I will never go back and I go to a lot of concerts. Be careful, and it clearly doesn't pay to be nice. I guess they condone men putting their hands on women but not giving them a 20 dollar waters that was meant for themselves. read more
