Took out my favorite game. Very sad, went home and cried for three days straight. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed... :(

Zap! Zap! Pow! Pow! Click! Click! Clank! Clank! Beep! Beeeep! Do you like arcade games? If yes,…read moreSmitty's GameLAB is a great establishment that is loaded with arcade games -- lots & lots of them. Yep, whack-a-mole is on-site -- plus, that game where you sit on a small, stationary motorcycle & do things like lean & turn on it, etc. You know the one...yep, it's on-site too. VROOOM!!! Skee-Ball + the claw machine will leave you wanting more & more tries! GameLAB is connected to Smitty's legendary dine-in movie theater -- where you can feast on an entire chicken dinner while watching one of today's top flicks. The atmosphere at GameLAB is electric & loud (like, very loud -- so fyi, if you hate noise). Flashing lights, kids running amuck & the sound of laughter will surround your being. GameLAB has bowling! A restaurant! A big ole bar! And prizes! We ordered wings & beer & a buffalo chicken wrap w/ fries -- all of which were comforting & executed to dining satisfaction. I ate all of my fries. Oops, burp. I didn't try a slice, but their pizza looked amazing too -- the pie had favorable elements on it like cheese & a crust. Iconic. Waitstaff was friendly. I liked them. They were juggling a lot but checked in with us frequently. That was kind.

GameLab is a great place to go for a date, family get together, or to hangout with friends. Have always been happy with their service - definitely check it out!!

The building…read morelocated right on Short Sands Beach originally operated as a bathhouse in the 1940s and then a rollerskating rink before pinball machines began to appear in the 1950s. By the 1960s, the building was converted into a full-blown amusement arcade. Over 250 games can be found at Fun-O-Rama, both classic and modern alike. Since 2001, the owner of the arcade has been Robert Lago of New Hampshire-based Grape Hill Associates LLC. The arcade operates seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. My family and I visited Fun-O-Rama this summer while we were spending the week in York. It was our first day in town, and after exploring the Short Sands Beach area we wandered into the arcade. Both of my young sons are obsessed with arcades, so they were very excited. Fun-O-Rama has a nice mixture of various types of arcade amusements, both classic and modern. In addition to the classic arcade cabinets of the 1980s, there were also pinball machines, skee-ball, air hockey, arcade basketball, arcade bowling, kiddie rides, a fortune teller machine, driving games, and shooter games. The place (and the games) seemed well-loved; countless hands had used those joysticks over the last several decades. We only stayed for a little while, as it was getting late, but my sons both had a fun visit. If you're planning to visit York in the summer and you love classic arcades, then you must visit Fun-O-Rama!

Old and vintage games, but when multiple games are out of order or steal your money it's not so cool. Out of order games are not labeled or how much it costs to play each game. Old school real quarter play with no stupid game cards. A lot of staff standing around. Service is not too friendly. We'll see what we get for about 600 tickets. These places are a dying breed. It's still worth a visit, especially with kids.
