They have a sunny space at the front where you are welcome to dine-in at one of their half dozen tables for two. We parked in a lot next to the building. Order at the counter or call ahead for pick-up. Above the order counter is a menu without descriptions and as this is my first visit, I needed info. Paper menus are on the counter that include ingredients which was exactly what I was looking for! I had heard their empanadas were very good and that is why I visited. Then I saw the menu and changed my mind to Chimi de Res sandwich. This sandwich was so good. Cool slaw, beef patty, sauce, good bread, all together a pleasant flavor and texture combination. My SO got a steak & Cheese. Not sure what they do differently, but it was very much enjoyed. Fries are crunchy outside, soft inside. Well done. I tried one of their shakes and it was just the right amount of sweet and full of fruit flavor. Excellent. They have a drinks cooler next to the register to grab a bottled beverage too. No steps up to enter the business. Standard glass and metal 'push' type entrance door. I did not see an 'auto open' door feature or a handicap parking spot in the shared lot but there was snow so it's hard to tell at the moment. There is no public restroom. It's tiny and as mentioned, most business is take-away. The staff were super nice. Food is soooo good. For take-away or casual dine-in, this is an excellent stop. I will be back to try those empanada!

Everything you love about a burger slapped in between some crisp bread, add some saucy cheese, and dig in. There's not much else to say about this one other than I really want to try everything else on their menu now. Simple counter service place, but plenty of seating inside if you wanted to eat in.

The seasoning of the beef was great, the beef also had a great texture. The pastry was cooked beautifully, had a nice crunch and it was not super greasy. The empanadas were also stuffed full with the beef. This place is a must for a quick and filling lunch ! I also want to mention how clean this place is and they do have a couple of tables to sit at.

We visited Tu Cafeteria recently and unfortunately the experience felt uncomfortable from the…read moremoment we walked in. The atmosphere was not welcoming at all - it honestly felt like we were bothering the person working there. I understand this is a startup, but it didn't seem prepared or ready to receive customers. The space is very small with limited seating, and the tables felt more like outdoor patio furniture than indoor dining. It was also very cold inside, with only a small portable heater that didn't really help. We ordered two sandwiches -a Cuban and a ham and cheese. When we asked what comes on the sandwiches, the response was "whatever you want on it," followed by "salad," which was confusing. I assumed that meant lettuce and tomato, but for someone working in a cafeteria-style restaurant, the lack of clarity was surprising. The premade food (pastelitos) looked old and unappetizing. The overall vibe was extremely quiet and awkward, with no warmth or energy in the space. When our food was ready, it wasn't brought to our table, the staff member stood in a doorway and expected us to grab it ourselves. I also asked for sparkling water and then regular water, and neither was available. Positives: The sandwiches themselves were good--warm and nicely pressed. The mayo/ketchup sauce, however, had way too much garlic (and I mean way too much). Overall, there's potential here, but the customer service, preparedness, and atmosphere really need improvement to make this a place people want to return to.

They have their own parking lot in the back. It's a hot bar but also a whole restaurant lol the interior is so nice that take out is a very hard option to do because you want to dine in lol For two large entrees and a large spaghetti, it came out to be $42. This also includes a drink! I got the stewed chicken, stewed goat, and spaghetti. If you never had Dominican spaghetti before, please do try! It's super flavorful, a little sweet, and a little salty. It's so good. Stewed chicken was good but not the best. What one lacks, the other compliments. The rice here is so moist and fluffy. Along with the sides they offer. I opted for macaroni salad. Highly recommended. The stewed goat was a little salty but that's up my alley lol I can see it being a little issue for some but I love salty food lol Very disappointed they didn't have oxtails though. It was only 2pm and they were out already. Overall, let's just say, I wish this place was closer to home!!
