Manager literally kicked my daughter out of the restaurants because she brought her one month old to a family celebration at the restaurant. The explanation was that nobody under 18 is allowed in the establishment, but at the table right behind us and was a young girl who was 16 and she was allowed to stay. Another minor inconvenience is the tap doesn't have soda beyond their own root beer. No Coke, No Pepsi or anything else. The room is drafty and chilled. The service time to receive drinks took well over 10 minutes to arrive. Additionally, the bathrooms were dirty and smelled of urine. In an area where there are multiple other places to go spend your hard earned money, I would highly recommend enriching a different establishment. read more

This place is okay, but they DEFINITELY need to work on their customer service game. We went for dinner after graduation here, so it's possible that they were understaffed. It took a really long time for them to bring out their pizza, and once it came, it was very difficult to tear apart. We asked for a pizza cutter, but they got all weird and said it wasn't allowed and gave us a very blunt knife instead. So strange. Finally the waitress brought out a pizza cutter and cut it properly. The actual pizza tasted okay, but it was soggy. You could not lift it up by the crust or it would make a 90 degree angle pointing straight down to the table and all the toppings would fall off. Wish I could leave half stars. I would've done 3.5 stars for this place. First things first... the pizza was good. Not OMG but good. I only wish there were more condiments available (olive oil to dip the crusts in, oregano/real parm for the pizza, etc). The beer choices were plentiful and I enjoyed my beer-- Fallout (hefe). Reasonable prices. However, this place advertises themselves as having good wine (on tap). The choices were a bit limited and my wife really didnt like the taste of the ones she sampled and ended up foregoing wine altogether for the meal. This place is a gem for Wichita Falls. It has a nice aesthetic as well as a great selection for drinks. If you want a delicious fireside pizza, Half Pint is it. Be warned: if you go on a really busy night, it takes a longgg time to get your pizza because of capacity. My friend and I once had a horrible server who blatantly ignored us. At the end of the night, it took over two hours to get our pizzas to us, because of the busy restaurant and mostly our careless waitress. The reason I'm still giving Half Pint 5 stars is because every other experience has been great. Every other server I've had has been excellent as well.
