Used books are on sale in this area and there is signage stating that they accept book donations. As you head to the right, you enter a larger room with neatly organized shelves featuring a variety of genres. One wall also features a lovely fireplace and mantel, giving a nice cozy feel that was perfect for the fall day. There's a nice kids area with a "window" seat type area to lounge (no window, but cute dragonfly stickers decorate the wall!) In addition to books, there was a variety of bookish items including themed stickers and such. The staff was very welcoming and kind. What a delightful find! We look forward to stopping by again.

As mentioned in the name, there is, indeed, a blue couch front and center in the main window. A table full of blind book dates were nearby, and then a warm welcoming open space filled with the stacks. The back corner has a great kids section with fun seating and a nice selection of books. It's on the smaller side but I am a sucker for an indie bookstore and I would recommend this place, especially if you are looking for a special edition, a book with sprayed edges, or some fun little gifts for the book lover in your life. I feel like it really caters to the romantasy crowd, which I read now and again but they carry other mainstream fantasy like Brandon Sanderson and some other lit fic authors as well. I specifically mentioned Brandon Sanderson because I picked up a copy of one of his novels while I was there. I need to double check and see if they are doing any book clubs or social events because I would be interested in participating. I took 1 star off because I'd love to see more genres in the store but it's cute and cozy and I will absolutely be back.

Lo and behold, there was a record store across the street and open early! I've been to a few great record stores in Columbus, but did not know about this one and it's super great. Everything is organized really well and there is so much variety and the prices are very fair.... Sadly a rarity these days. The metal section is divided in various sections so it's very comforting on the.Mind :) I am a connoisseur record stores, and this is the way they're supposed to be. Super nice staff as well.

These days it's a street level entrance, but the absolutely amazing vinyl selection is still very much present in this new record shop located on Summit Street north of campus. most people would be hard pressed not to find several selections that they really like in this large shop. Truly incredible variety. As with most shops like this in the Columbus area, there are some vinyl record collector supplies available for purchase. True collectors and audio files will find this feature very useful. Friendly and talkative staff at the front desk, who are happy to answer thoughtful questions. They are knowledgeable so if you have something on your mind, hit them up if they can help you, I'm feeling pretty confident that they'll do their best. Parking can be a bit of a chore as there are a number of other retail shops in this immediate area, it is also a residential area, and a highly trafficked street. With a little patience, you'll be able to find something relatively nearby. Be sure and check the signs to make sure that you're parking in an area that is permissible.

I am impressed that the folks that work here seem to have quite a good handle on the live local music scene, which is a nice distinction and helps him to really stand out. In addition to a great selection of vinyl, they also have some useful supplies available for dedicated record collectors. sometimes record stores can be "dusty" this one is well lit superbly organized, and a joy to visit. I've never been in this store that it hasn't been enjoying heavy foot traffic from other audio fans. This of course is a positive sign that the inventory here is worth coming in and having a look.
