A nice lady went into the back, got three of the frozen croissants they would use to make deli sandwiches, rang them up and sold them to me ad hoc. It sits right on a two-lane coastal "highway," barely 1/4 mile from Lake Michigan, but would just as likely be found in some backwater Alabama swamp (not an insult, just an ambience).
