It really is a blast from the past. Walking into 'cheers' and everyone knows your name. We were outsiders, but were greeted with a smile by the sweet lady behind the counter. A couple patrons also said hello. Unsure of where to sit we chose a small table off to the side and browsed the daily specials on the wall. Person after person strolled on in, and the woman behind the counter knew each ones drink order off by heart and already had it ready to go for them. Service like that is definitely something special in today's day and age. Prices are VERY cheap. $4.50 for draft beer, $12 for halibut tacos, $7.75 for a loaded banquet burger. Personally, food was nothing spectacular; At least what we had. I was definitely full and it tasted ok. I do want to come back and give some of their other dishes a try. Especially since they're homemade and many dishes have good reviews. If you're looking for quality service with cheap beer and eats, this definitely place is definitely worth checking out.

I also ordered a large gravy at $3. Somehow the math doesn't add up in the receipt - According to the website picture, there's slaws, but I didn't get any. A friend told me afterward that slaws are separate. Then I think they should exclude the slaw from the pic - No plastic utentils nor condiments were included Maybe this is a case of miscommunication. But for $30, the quality of the cooking should be good at least.
