My background...I am a full time musician/vocalist for a featured show at one of Orlando's major theme parks as well as for production companies in the area, performing a minimum of 5 days a week year-round. I have worked with various coaches throughout the years. I came across Ken via Brett Manning's site, and after being a student of both Singing Success and Mastering Mix, I had very high hopes and expectations. I have been blown away with the efficient pacing of lessons, the unique customizing to my learning style and performance needs, and, most importantly, the results. I have experienced much improved tone, more balance throughout my range, and recognition of the improvements from other performers and guests. I cannot recommend Ken Taylor enough, via the web or word of mouth. His prices are excellent (especially compared to other Orlando instructors) and his commitment to vocal training and education shows up in my results.

Let me start by saying I am/was new to "all things" guitar related. I didn't even know what the…read moreparts of the guitar were called beyond maybe 4-5 things. Let me stress here, I knew zip, zero, nada about guitars, but I wanted to learn how to play. So.... When I first found Elite Academy I was on the fence about whether to learn to play the guitar on my own by watching YouTube videos, or go for in-person lessons. (which I was quite fearful of doing due to covid and living with an extremely high-risk person) I'd decided to start out with just a couple of in-person lessons, to at least get a semi-proper start with a bit of feedback, and then mainly stick with YouTube. I NOW realize how completely naive that idea was, assuming you truly want to learn that is! Anyway, I talked to Damian, who is the director of Elite Academy, and after discussing my concerns with in-person instruction he told me online lessons would likely be the best fit for me personally. (I'm sure he quickly realized I was over-the-top paranoid about in-person lessons. Lol) I thought I'd give online lessons a try, even though I honestly assumed "online lessons" wouldn't be as beneficial as in-person lessons. WRONG! What occurred next changed EVERYTHING!! We set up a time for an online lesson. Prior to my 1st lesson Damian sent me a few of his beginner videos to watch as well as other info/charts to look over. The information was presented in a crystal clear fashion, it was easy to understand and retain, and it became instantly clear to me that a TREMENDOUS amount of time and thought had been put into his lesson plans, and they were structured in a way that was absolutely intentional in helping a beginner learn in the easiest and fastest way possible. After the first lesson I knew without a doubt I'd accidentally hit the jackpot in finding Damian! I'm now 2 months in with weekly online lessons and I can't believe what I've learned in such a short time. I'm beyond impressed with Damian as an instructor! If you are searching for a guitar instructor, all I can say is give Damian a call and take a lesson or two. His fees are extremely reasonable and it's worth a try. If you aren't happy then move on, but I'm 100% sure after a lesson or two you won't be going anywhere! (because then you'll know what I already found out... JACKPOT!! Lol)

Ira shoe repair- avoid!…read more VERY disappointed with Ira. Twice I have dropped my beloved Frye boots off for a resoling and twice he has not been able to make a straight sole. I asked him to put the same height heals that were already on the boot originally, which were less than 1 in, the first time I went to pick up the boots, he had put two inch high heels on my riding boots with lug soles! The second time it looks like he cut the two inch heel in half off one shoe, and then made the entire pair oddly crooked and very different ways per boot.... The right foot sole as well as the heels, pronate inward and the left foot sole and heel pronates outward! The shoe sits to the left of center- half an inch above where the arch is.... and one boot sits on the right of center, half an inch above where the arch is. Neither shoe has a centered sole. Neither is centered on the ball of the foot as is normal for boots and any shoes so you have some balance..... This time, it looks like he took one of the two inch heels and cut them in half and used the same heel for both boots. The heels are also supposedly new but they are all gouged up, with visible chips out of them, which obviously wouldn't last long, when wearing. The soles don't even lay evenly under the ball of the foot, but more toward the arch which is strange, and in addition to the heels the shoes pronate and lay on the arch part of the boot not the ball of the foot! I'm likely to fall wearing these shoes the way they resoled them to feel like marbles, completely unbalanced underneath. When I brought them to him he said they could do it, and he had other lug soled boots in his shop when I dropped off mine. Said it would be fine. When I returned it the first time, and I showed him and asked him why he put two inch heels on English riding boots, he said "oh I see what you want I will fix it." Even though I had given him pictures of what I wanted and he had the actual original soles on the boots to follow for height, as his guide. It still not fixed even this second time of taking the shoes back all the way from Palm Coast to Ormond Beach, for repair to Ira. When I got them the first time I asked him where the Polish had been because they always said that they polish the boots when they return them. No polish. He said he would polish the boots. So I got crooked heels and soles the second time and still no polish! Not sure what happened because they have some great reviews about their work -- but that was his dad who had a quality focus to not only remember an order but actually to fulfill it properly. His dad's quality is NOT the new IRA and sons store that reopened. Because of the reviews for his dad, we were willing to drive all the way there from Palm Coast to Ormond- but this is not even ok nor passible work at all, and he's had the boots since May... and charged me nearly $200 for this terrible job that now means I can't wear the boots..... This is not acceptable and I wanted to warn people not to go there anymore.

Made a call to My Computer Man he was here in last then 4 hours and within 10 min. he found I had been hacked and someone else had control of computer, my accounts, my e-mail, all my passwords. The hack job was due to a stupid thing I did. Ninety minutes later Kevin had me back in control, passwords changed on all major accounts, and receiving all my new and old e-mails. Everything back to normal in way less then 2 hours. This is not the first that Kevin and his team have worked miracles for me. THANKS KEVIN!!!!

I didn't take a whole lot of pictures of the inside but it has nice bathrooms and friendly staff. The sound was amazing. The place is not real big so you have a good seat just about anywhere you are. Except when the band comes on everyone stands up so if you want to see an event here I would suggest getting seats in the front. Our seats were near the back and we were able to move up front to watch the band. The staff here is friendly. They don't mind if you break the rules a little. Wink wink. Parking in the back was $15.

Then switches back on a dime and exveryone is supposed to forget about it. Even if little ones not yelled at, they see this. My child was approached and pressured to join company without consulting with me first, causing a year long rift with my child the next year as the constant performances even at places like country clubs and restaurants did not fit into our family's schedule as we have 2 other kids and their schedules to balance, and added rehearsals week of a showdolls show were too much with school. Plus, i work nights so could not volunteer as the mothers are expected to make it their life too, for no discounts or pay or anything. The instruction was just okay, and the acro in particular was really lame. Way overcrowded and work on the same 4 moves for years. Also, they are laying all over the floor and it's filthy, do not have a cleaning company because it's all about the money there and totally disorganized...lice and athlete's foot run rampant all year. We switched mid year to another studio and it is worth the drive. No mothers expected to work for free, clean as a whistle, no bubbling floors, they pay staff well and teachers are good, more than one show a year without comiting to 'company' and nice people who will not go postal on your kid. Do yourself a favor and RUN! Don't be fooled by proximity when the personalities could damage how your child feels about her talents.

I spent around $200 and got $200 worth of work back. My mistake was getting comfortable, I paid in advanced $400 for the rest of my project with terrible results. As you can see in the texts this person refused to respond on multiple occasions, I paid for work around January and still around summer I was asking for my work back. By the time I got my work back there were essentially no changes. The producer added an EQ layer which someone their first semester of undergraduate could do within 10 minutes, it was nothing that I asked for and definitely not worth $400. I contacted his manager who clearly didn't want to be bothered. At this point summer was in full swing and I wanted to just have a refund of my $400 and find another studio. Of course the manager "didn't have my money" and refused. He offered to fix my project but with the low quality of work and clear annoyance with me (and I quote) "This cannot be a never ending project", I accepted that I was stolen from and moved on. DO NOT GO HERE unless you're fine losing hundreds of dollars.

Next, whether you pre-purchased your tickets or want to purchase them there, there are at least five ticket kiosks to choose from. There is a ticket guide available (yes, it's not a robo, yet) to assist with your use of a kiosk as well as theater directions for your movie location. What was quite changed was the installation of 'self-serve' everything! No longer do you need to wait on a line for drinks, popcorn, and snacks! Everything is within arm's reach. The most surprising feature was the 'sticker shock' for the popcorn containers. Buyer beware .... Very, very pricey for even a small tub. $$$$ There is a 'guide' to assist with your selections and purchases. No longer exists a counter register, but kiosks to take care of business too. As we walked to our theater to locate our seats, it was another pleasant surprise to see so many lounge seats! They were quite nice, though hubby wasn't fond of the seat. I kicked back with my expensive bucket of popcorn and drink! Now that was quite nice! We really enjoyed the movie and the upgraded theater experience.
