This is a wonderful venue in the heart of Daytona Beach it was dedicated in 1949 and has been the host to so many stars and great performances, the Daytona Beach Symphony Society has made the Peabody Auditorium its home for the last 62 years. (Yes Daytona Beach has a Symphony). It reminds me of a high school auditorium in a lot of ways, with seating for about 2500 the acoustics are so good even when the performers step away from the microphone you can still hear and understand every word. The staff as stated in other reviews are exceptional very professional and accommodating. There are bars on each end of the lobby and although during intermission there are lines at both they do a nice job getting everyone served so you don't miss a minute of the performance. I definitely recommend catching a show here if the opportunity presents itself.

My first time here at the Peabody and My first time seeing Lewis Black. The Peabody is a smaller type auditorium and older building. We walked in and the first thing you notice is the smaller venue/out of date decor. The actual auditorium seats were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE its like they were made for just born babies.....not much room in the seat for any BOOTY if you have some....worse than the airline seating...but the rows all slant kind of down so even though we had back row seats we could still see Lewis Black on stage. That being said, we were packed in like SARDINES and THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING TURNED ON!! So in addition to super tiny not human seats, we were sweating like PIGS! I mean, come on PEABODY, really??? its 2018...time to get with THE PROGRAM! update and turn some Freaking Air on for concerts and venues...I FOR ONE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THE PEABODY!! BOOM=not recommended at all! and it looks like by all the other reviews of this place, they really don't care about what YELPERS think! Bad move! THIS IS too bad cause they in a good location but what a waste of good space!

The Neon Sanctuary: Why Timmy T's (AKA Chudkosky's MTV Nightclub) is the Soul of the World's #4…read moreNightlife Capital If the globe has a heartbeat, it's pulsing at 600 North. Daytona Beach didn't just stumble into its ranking as the #4 city for nightlife on the planet--it earned it through the sheer, electric legacy of spots like Timmy T's. This isn't just a nightclub; it's a legendary MTV-era cathedral of sound and light where the "Daytona Dream" was born. But look closer. Beyond the 50,000 watts of bass and the ocean-view VIP decks, there is a new frequency vibrating through the salt air. In a city where the sun never sets on the party, the Daytona Dream Center is proving that the "girls of the nightlife" aren't just part of the scene--they are the scene's greatest untapped potential. The Vibe: Imagine the raw, unfiltered energy of 90s MTV Spring Break fused with a modern, high-glamour sanctuary. Timmy T (the visionary Chudkosky himself) hasn't just preserved a club; he's curated an atmosphere of "Atmospheric Alchemy." It's where the music meets the soul. The Inspiration: For every woman navigating the neon-lit corridors of the world's elite party district, the message is clear: Your lifestyle is a masterpiece in progress. Supported by the heart-centered mission of the Daytona Dream Center, the nights at Timmy T's are no longer just about the dance floor--they're about the rise. This is where the elite converge, not just to lose themselves, but to find a higher version of their own story. In the #4 nightlife city in the world, the brightest lights aren't on the stage; they're the women who turn the nightlife into a lifestyle of power, purpose, and transformation. The Verdict: If you haven't experienced the "transcendent frequency" of Timmy T's, you haven't seen Daytona. Come for the legend, stay for the evolution.

We came for lunch and honestly didn't want to leave. Our server Brooke was the kind of person who makes a restaurant great. Attentive, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we sat down. She had great energy and made our whole group feel taken care of without ever being intrusive. Ask for her if you can. The food was outstanding. We ordered the ahi tuna pizza -- a crispy flatbread topped with fresh raw tuna, avocado, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of spicy aioli and teriyaki glaze. It was stunning to look at and even better to eat. The blackened fish sandwich came loaded with fresh toppings and paired perfectly with the golden fries. The grilled chicken tacos were generous and well-seasoned with a mango salsa on the side that really popped. We also got the coconut shrimp -- beautifully fried with a honey mustard dipping sauce -- and our little one loved the chicken bites and fries. Don't skip the gator bites either -- a true Florida experience, perfectly crispy and served with a honey mustard that kept us reaching for more. Everything tasted fresh, like it came straight off the boat. We toasted the afternoon with margaritas on the rocks and honestly couldn't imagine a better setting -- salt-rimmed cups, ocean breeze, the sound of waves just a few feet away. Yes, the prices are a step up, but when you factor in that you're sitting steps from the beach with food this fresh and a view like this, it's worth every penny. If you're passing through Daytona, make a point to stop in -- you won't regret it.
