Absolutely a great experience! I contacted T. Byrd's Heating & Cooling for a second opinion. I'm so…read moreglad I did. A wonderful technician named Stephano along with his very knowledgeable manager came out to assess why my AC stopped working. So he told me he checked on how much a fan for my outdoor unit would cost and first he told me $2,600. I told him I couldn't do that right now either. He then said he would give me a discount and make it $2,100. I told him I couldn't do that either and he said, "how about $1,000, or how much can you do now?" I told him I would have to think about it and he said he would look for a used motor that would be cheaper and he would call me back with a quote the next day. He never called back. Today I had an independent service fix it and it ended up costing me $740. *
