Was standing in for someone who was off. I came back Monday(Nov 8) & bought it. Ask for it to be delivered to our house in Crivitz for thanksgiving. That was over three weeks away. After trying to get an answer for almost a week the salesman said they could and I would be charged 100.00 dollars. I agreed. Then a week later called me & said they couldn't deliver it by thanksgiving and that the charge would be 150.00 but he would hold it to the 100.00 charged. We decided to pick it up since we were having company for the holiday. To make an even longer story short, the salesman copped an attitude, saying he told me I had to have people to load it. Which he never did. But we own a company and just had two of our guys come over. I will never purchase anything from this company and I would suggest a buyer beware. I can't recommend this business

Ebert's sheer volume of merchandise really took me aback when I walked in. I agree with another…read morereviewer that it is overwhelming, but it was not un-navigable. There was merchandise stacked literally four or more layers tall, and the aisles were narrow, so don't plan to bring your stroller there. There was tons and tons of furniture: dressers, chairs, armoires, cabinets, tables...you name it. Also, I might have counted 79 white glass pitchers and dozens and dozens of decoys. There were clocks, lamps, some beer signs (but overall not a lot of signs), and even some statues. I didn't notice a lot of dust or spider webs on any of the merchandise. The prices were not low, but maybe they are negotiable, I'm not sure. However I have to say that after going to Ebert's and then stopping by the place next door, Ebert's was more appealing to me.

If you're into farmhouse furniture, old decoys, mantel clocks or oil lamps, Eberts is your place. There are several big barn spaces stacked 10' high with dressers, cupboards and hundreds and hundreds of chairs. The owners are a nice older couple who obviously have a passion for these categories - most things seem to be from the Victorian era to maybe the 20's. Condition obviously varies, and there's a breathtaking amount of stuff crammed into the space making it hard to see everything easily. That said, it actually isn't especially dusty. Aisles can be quite narrow and I definitely worried about a pile of chairs falling on me (not implying things are unsafe, it's just so much stuff piled up, you know?). Anyway, if this kind of stuff if your jam or if you're looking to furnish a B&B, Eberts will make for an interesting visit.

My husband has 5 daughters, and every year, for their birthdays, he sends them flowers from The Wild Iris. Angela has been more than accommodating to our family over the years. One year, the delivery driver stood in the pouring rain to sing happy birthday. How amazing?! One time, my husband called very last minute, and Angela was still able to provide a wonderful bouquet with delicious candies and a stuffed animal that his daughter still talks about to this day. Once, the Wild Iris waited to deliver a bouqet (after business hours) until after a softball practice just to ensure his daughter received the flowers and they just weren't left on the doorstep. This kind of compassion and service can not be found at other establishments. Angela treats all of her customers as if they are her own family, and that's what makes shopping at The Wild Iris so special. The store itself is so well decorated, and there is a gift to be found for everyone. Both my mother and mother-in-law shopped at The Wild Iris while visiting from Boston and found all their gifts for their friends back home here. Today, I bought a baby ruby plant. Angela replanted it for me and added decorative rocks free of charge. This made my heart so happy. I have known Fritz Schuler since our days at Benjamin Franklin grade school. He and his wife are talented musicians. Many, many people have learned to play folk guitar, banjo, and mountain dulcimer from these two. Mary is also an artist. The store is pretty cool as it is packed to the gills with instruments (I got one of my mandolins here), music books, strings, and just about any thing a folk musician could ever want. They are really nice people and their store is pretty amazing. If you are a musician or aspire to be one it would behoove you to stop by and check this place out.
