The only thing I don't like about this store is the clothing racks. They have markers on the rack designating the size. There are other sizes mixed in. Not just an odd one or two, but many. They don't separate the shirts by sleve length or type. There were dress shirts, flannel shirts, sweaters, and sweat shirts all on the same rack.

I knew that we had a pay a visit while in town. What a great experience! Schroeder's has been open since 1891. While I loved learning about their history...it's a great place to shop. Schroeder's has a coffee house, men's and women's clothing, a yarn shop, bookstore, a toy store, souvenirs and all sorts of other merchandise. I bought a few books and a pair of moccasin slippers. My friends bought t-shirts and a puzzle. The people working the store were helpful, friendly and truly passionate about Schroeder's history. This is a store that has managed to stay true to its heritage, but stay relevant. If you're in the Manitowoc/Two Rivers area, Schroeder's Department Store is a must stop kind of place.
